Education
In 2001 he graduated from the Faculty of Management and Socio-Information Technologies of Moscow State University of Culture and Arts (now the Moscow State Institute of Culture) with a degree in Information Systems in the Socio-Cultural Sphere.
Candidate of pedagogical sciences. In 2006, at the Moscow State University of Culture and Arts, he defended his dissertation on the topic "Modern pedagogical technologies of in-house professional training of specialists in the book industry."

2008-2013
In 2000-2008, he was engaged in business development at Trading House LLC, Biblio-globe and was a member of the supervisory board of the holding.
In 2008-2012 - Head of the Department of Science, Innovation and Information Technology of the Department of Science and Education of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
In 2013 - Deputy Head of the Department - Head of the Department for Monitoring the Quality Assessments of Professional Education of the Department of Public Services of the Federal Service for Supervision of Education and Science (Rosobrnadzor).
2016-2018
In 2013-2016 - Deputy Head of the Information Technology Department of FSUE Main Production and Commercial Department for Servicing the Diplomatic Corps at the Russian Foreign Ministry.
In 2016 - Deputy Director, in 2016-2018 - Director of the Federal Institute of Industrial Property.
On November 19, 2018, he was appointed deputy head of the Federal Intellectual Property Service.
2022: Appointment as head of Rospatent
On February 18, 2022, it became known about the appointment of Yuri Zubov as the new head of the Federal Intellectual Property Service (Rospatent). In this post, he replaced Grigory Ivliev, who headed the service since 2015.
Before becoming the head of Rospatent, Zubov held the position of deputy head in this department.[1]
