2023: Adding Remote Receiver Control

The multi-platform operator Tricolor has added a remote receiver control function to the Second Screen application. The operator announced this on July 19, 2023.

The menu of the "Second Screen" was supplemented with a tab, the capabilities of which are repeated by the classic remote control from the receiver: volume control, channel switching, rewinding, pause, moving inside the interface, returning to the menu and others. Moreover, any film, series or project found in the "TV Guide" section that goes live can be launched on the TV with one button. To start using the remote control function, you need to log in to the application and bind the receiver to a mobile device.

With this feature, the Second Screen application becomes the control center of the home system for television viewing and a real must have for our customers. 2022: App Launch

The multi-platform operator has launched a mobile application that helps you navigate the program network of channels and in the future will learn how to manage the home television viewing platform. "Tricolor Second Screen" is already available for download on Google Play. Tricolor (National Satellite Company) announced this on November 8, 2022.

The functionality of the application is implemented in four sections that simplify the search for a film or program in a TV program. The client receives personal recommendations of content taking into account the client's favorite channels and genres, a selection of interesting articles, interviews and recipes with the ability to save publications in "Favorites." In addition, in the "Second Screen" you can set a reminder for a specific television event so as not to miss the broadcast on the channel.

The application includes opportunities for its development: it is planned to introduce in the "Second Screen" the functions of remote control of the TV and receiver, voice search and control of Tricolor services, seamless image transfer from TV to smartphone and other functions for comfortable viewing.
