2026: VKS Event and Incident Monitoring System Release

On February 4, 2026, Trukonf released a system for monitoring events and incidents of the Aerospace Forces.

TrueConf Monitor helps IT departments centrally monitor and capture incidents and events on a video conferencing network, regardless of scale. With the help of the monitoring system, you can analyze user activity and connection quality, statistics on the load of server equipment and network channels, errors and reasons for disconnecting from conferences, receive detailed information about participants and equipment, the state of VKS servers and much more.

TrueConf Monitor is designed to work with TrueConf Server and TrueConf Enterprise server solutions, which are used as enterprise platforms for unified communications in many large organizations around the world.

After Russian messenger AEROSPACE FORCES 2022, big business is actively switching to c, and industry the number of Enterprise-level projects is growing, when the number of users ON can be tens or even hundreds of thousands. The total number of VKS meetings is also growing: on Russia average, about 12 million multi-user video conferences are held on Trukonf systems monthly, excluding 1-on-1 calls.

The work of system administrators becomes more difficult: you need to monitor dozens of servers, thousands of workplaces and devices in real time, monitor the quality of connections, identify the causes of failures, analyze the load on the infrastructure and at the same time not disrupt the work of communications software within the company.

Manual control in such conditions becomes impossible: any "blind spot" can result in lost meetings, downtime and reputational risks. Centralized monitoring and telemetry enables IT not just to respond to problems, but to alert them.

Active participant monitoring is key to understanding the causes of failures and the source of critical data for rapid response. In case of problems such as sudden disconnection of a conference participant, echo, "hanging" of video or loss of sound, the administrator sees specific metrics.

TrueConf Monitor conducts advanced analytics:

  • what type of application is used by an employee of the company (Linux, Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, Aurora, etc.);
  • the level of processor utilization on the user's device;
  • connection time and duration of participation in the conference;
  • recorded problems during participation (for example, packet loss, errors, delay, bitrate drop);
  • reasons for disconnecting from an online meeting.

TrueConf Monitor also generates a history of past conferences and records the reasons for completion for subsequent analysis. This allows you to learn more about the "behavior" of VKS servers and prevent failures in the corporate video conferencing service.

In addition to monitoring the conferences themselves, TrueConf Monitor monitors the load on the server, including the use of the processor, RAM, network load and system services. The solution collects detailed network statistics to identify and then fix network bandwidth, packet loss, and latency issues.

For companies with a large-scale VKS infrastructure, an Enterprise version of TrueConf Monitor is provided: it monitors the availability of VKS servers as part of a cluster and displays the status of each node in real time. This is important for geographically distributed companies, banks, and federal services that require stability and accurate management of IT resources, the ability to prevent critical disruptions, and optimize solutions that are used for collaboration and communication.

TrueConf Monitor runs Astra Linux 1.7, Debian 11 and Debian 12. In the future, Trukonf intends to expand the list of compatible OSs.
