2019: The output of the tool for cracking of all iPhones and iPad
In the middle of June, 2019 the Israeli criminalistic company Cellebrite announced creation of the Universal Forensic Extraction Device (UFED) Premium program which, according to developers, can crack any smartphones and Apple tablets.
Cellebrite calls the development "the exclusive solution for law enforcement agencies". Those can get access not only to the files which are stored on the device, but also to remote content and also to e-mail and correspondence in messengers.
Affirms that UFED Premium can be applied successfully to all iPhones and iPad with versions of the operating system from iOS 7 doios 12.3 (the last by June 19, 2019). Besides, it will be in the future possible to crack Android device, including flagman models of Samsung, LG, Huawei and Xiaomi.
The improved "Mode of limited access of USB" is provided in iOS 12. It turns off data transmission through Lightning port if from the moment of the last unblocking of the device passed more than an hour. Whether new development of Cellebrite can bypass this prohibition, not clearly.
Though the tool is addressed to security agencies, it can be used not only within the law that the risk of its illegal application or hit to a third party causes serious concerns. In a conversation with the Wired edition the specialist of a pokiberbezopasnost and the founder of Hacker House Mathew Hayki told that it managed to purchase nayevau some earlier products Cellebrite.
Cellebrite is not the only company which is engaged in a bypass of protection of IOS for intelligence agencies, police officers and private detectives. Grayshift company at least since 2017 sells the GrayKey device which was connected to iPhone via the Lightning-connector. With a release of IOS 12 this tool became useless, however by June, 2019 Grayshift developed solutions for cracking of some current versions of IOS.[1]

The Russian-language version of the Cellebrite portal reports that the solution of the company works with devices based on iOS, Android and Windows Phone. Also developers promise to provide an information access on the BlackBerry smartphones, phones of old models and different computers and notebooks[2].
The innovation complex is held for use law enforcement agencies for the purpose of "extraction of the outdated models given from mobile devices, smartphones, tablets and GPS portable devices for the subsequent interpretation and the analysis". Specialists propose also solutions for devices, "made in China".
