2025: Start of Sales
In early May 2025, the Chinese company Unitree Robotics began selling a special fire version of the B2 dog robot equipped with a built-in water cannon. The first copies of robotic fire assistants have already begun work in the Chinese city of Qingdao, where they are undergoing extended testing in real-world operation.
According to Unitree, the fire modification of the B2 robot is equipped with a special fire-fighting gun, which is mounted on the back of a mechanical device and is able to release a stream of water at a distance of up to 60 meters with a flow rate of 40 liters per second. The water cannon has a hinged mount that provides an inclination within 85 degrees, which allows you to direct the flow of water to almost any point of the source of ignition.
The design of the robot provides for a system for automatic switching between water and foam depending on the type of fire. In addition, B2 can independently disconnect one fire hose and connect another, which makes it possible to extinguish the fire from different points without the need for human intervention.
The company's engineers have made significant improvements to the robot's design, making its body waterproof, dusty and resistant to extreme temperatures. An important feature of the fire version is the self-cooling system of the case, thanks to which the robot can approach the source of fire at a closer distance than a person without risking damage.
The developers also improved the B2 leg joints, increasing their strength by 170%. This allowed the robot to overcome obstacles up to 40 cm high and climb stairs with an angle of inclination of up to 45 degrees, which is critical when working in conditions of rubble and destroyed buildings.[1]

Unitree B2 on wheel supports
3Logic Group on October 2, 2024 presented an updated model of the Unitree B2 industrial cyberdog. Now the robot moves on wheels, becoming many times more stable and energy efficient.
The flagship robot Unitree B2 comes in two versions. In the classic configuration, it moves, walking. Robot paws can be replaced with wheel supports. At the same time, it is possible to reduce wear on parts and 2 times increase the energy efficiency of the device, thanks to balanced sliding on surfaces. On wheel supports, the B2 retains the ability to climb onto ledges 25 cm high and 45 ° inclination.
Features of the Unitree B2 robotic platform:
- replacement of paws with pneumatic wheels and back
- speed up to 22 km/h - high among industrial robots
- degree of protection IP67 - internal components are reliably protected from dirt and moisture
- operating time up to 6 hours depending on the load
The robot is optionally equipped with an AI processing module. With its help, the platform learns faster, more precisely builds a route and optimizes stabilization algorithms.
The main scope of B2 is inspection of industrial facilities and geodetic work. The platform can also be used by R&D teams. The functionality of the robot can be expanded - new scripts are programmed in C++ and Python based on the open ROS platform.
The Unitree B2 robot is designed specifically for industry, and first of all we gave it to experts in the real sector. Representatives of different industries noted the effectiveness and superstability of this platform, which is confirmed by our tests. AI technologies optimize the movements of the robot. Unitree B2 is a ready and reliable solution for industrial tasks: inspection and monitoring of facilities, geodetic work. Our engineers integrate additional equipment and payload modules to expand the functionality of the roboplatform for the customer, - said Ilya Kainov, head of robotic systems at 3Logic Group. |
Start of sales in Russia Unitree B2
3Logic Group opens the sale in Russia of an updated model of industrial bionic robots Unitree B2. The 3Logic Group announced this on May 30, 2024. Cyberdog has a high degree of protection, which makes the device suitable for use in dangerous conditions for humans. This model of a robot using AI technology has an increased operating time by 30%. The robot will be effective in the tasks of inspection and monitoring, geodetic work.
Four-support robot B2 - developed by Unitree Robotics. The exclusive representative of the company in Russia is 3Logic Group. The device reaches speeds of up to 22 km/h. The model has an IP67 degree of protection and maintains performance at temperatures from -20 ° C to + 55 ° C. The current engines are 170% more efficient than previous counterparts, making the device super-resistant on slippery and uneven surfaces. Autonomous operating time is increased by 30% compared to the previous generation and ranges from 4 to 6 hours.
In the basic configuration, the Unitree B2 is equipped with a 3D lidar for navigation on the ground. Additionally, you can install manipulator hands, scanning and navigation platforms. In addition, the robot can be put on wheeled supports - so it becomes faster and is able to efficiently perform tasks, for example, scanning spaces at long distances, transporting goods up to 40 kg.
Interest in the robotization of routine procedures in industrial production has seriously grown. Business is pushing both the drive for efficiency and the shortage of working personnel to do so. Our customers - large companies with a developed direction of digitalization - successfully integrate roboplatforms into their technological processes. The Unitree B2 robot with improved performance, cross-country ability and stability will be as effective as possible in tasks where you need to collect, analyze and transmit data of different formats from locations that are dangerous for humans, "said Ilya Kainov, head of robotic systems at 3Logic Group. |
