micro DPCs of DataStone mini are micro DPC with a capacity from 14 to 27U with the installed precision conditioners.

2018: Release of version 2

The Utilex company at the end of March, 2018 provided the next model of supermicro-DPC DataStone mini. The optimized solution became even more compact: World Data Centres are placed in one telecommunication cabinet 24U 600 mm wide.

World Data Centres of DataStone mini — an optimal solution for operational deployment of small infrastructures, in particular on objects with specific conditions, such as shops, workshops, warehouses, hangars and so forth.

Among features there is DataStone mini: the compact sizes, high fault tolerance of the equipment, an opportunity to individually change technical characteristics of the solution according to needs of the customer and also deadlines of creation of DPC. DataStone mini is transported already in assembled form. Therefore for its start on the platform of the customer it is enough only connection to the power supply network.

As a part of World Data Centres of DataStone mini: one cabinet 24U 600 mm wide under placement of the IT equipment and the engineering systems with the precision Clever Breeze conditioner with a power of 3 kW located inside. Optionally World Data Centres are completed with uninterruptible power supply units, power distribution blocks, the cupboard module of AUGPT.

World Data Centres of DataStone mini are a hermetic soundproofing complex. The class of protection is IP65. Block installation of additional 1 or 2 cabinets D24S for placement of passive, active network equipment and the low-loaded computing equipment is possible. Thus, creation of a uniform hermetic complex with a capacity up to 64U is possible. The condenser block of a conditioning system is located on an equipment cabinet and provides heat extraction to the premises of installation of Micro DPC of DataStone mini.

The built-in system of access control, management and monitoring performs the following functions:

• monitoring of temperature of cold and hot corridors;
• analysis of a status and refrigerating capacity of conditioners;
• status monitoring of the UPS and humidity in DPC;
• providing control and management system for access;
• tracking of history of events;
• remote control conditioning system of World Data Centres;
• own Web server and possibility of flexible configuration of notifications;
• support of the protocols ModBus/TCP, SNMP.

2015: Release

On August 4, 2015 the Utilex company announced release of micro DPC of DataStone mini. According to the statement of developers, the solution is created for satisfaction of needs of owners of small IT infrastructures for high readiness and fault tolerance^[1].

DataStone mini - one or several soundproofed cabinets 19', the sizes of 600х1200 mm with useful mounting height from 14U to 27U. Precision conditioners are installed by the sizes of 300х1200 mm sideways constructions. It reaches creation of the general of "a cold corridor" in a front part of cabinets and "hot" in back. All solution - the soundproofed complex closed hermetic. The class of protection is IP65. DataStone mini may contain from 1 to 5 cabinets. The maximum capacity – to 120U. The conditioning system provides heat extraction of 6 kW from a rack.

The patented scheme of cooling at which only the condenser which is shunted by the differential valve of pressure outside is located, closing the system of circulation of coolant at the closed control valve of pressure, allows to use a system with the broad temperature range of external air.

Technical characteristics of a conditioning system:

• air temperature in a cold corridor of +22 °C (± 2 °C);

• temperature condition of work – from -55 °C to +50 ° C;

• humidity monitoring.

At emergence of need for accumulation of equipment capacity or increase in level of reservation of the cooling system the possibility of installation of the additional conditioner is provided. The monitoring system and managements performing condition monitoring of climate and a power supply in micro DPC, data transmission via the web interface, SNMP is a part of micro DPC. The micro DPC of DataStone mini is equipped with castors for movement in the building.
