2024: Product Announcement
At the end of June 2024, a Russian unmanned VT-30Ye helicopter was presented in Kronstadt, capable of detecting and tracking marine driverless boats in a given water area. The new development of the research and production enterprise "Radar mms" is designed to increase the effectiveness of monitoring of marine spaces and provide round-the-clock monitoring of the marine situation.
According to TASS, the helicopter-type unmanned aerial vehicle is VT-30Ye equipped with advanced technologies that allow it to perform a wide range of tasks. The device can monitor a given water area, revealing the appearance of new vessels, non-standard behavior of floating craft and the presence of marine non-navigable boats.
The executive director of Radar MMS Ivan Antsev noted that the VT-30Ye is equipped with radar and optical means that provide all-weather and round-the-clock surveillance. This allows the device to efficiently perform monitoring tasks under any conditions.
In addition to marine applications, the VT-30Ye can be used to form a three-dimensional terrain model in land operations. In particular, the device is designed to interact with KamAZ unmanned vehicles when developing quarries, ensuring the transmission of up-to-date cartographic information in real time.
Technical characteristics of the VT-30Ye: the maximum weight of the target load is 7 kg, and the deployment time of the system is from 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the conditions. The device can also be used for ice exploration, environmental control, search and rescue and cargo delivery.
The drone is equipped with an electric engine with a capacity of 10 kW and can be in the air for up to 1.5 hours, covering a distance of up to 40 km with a return to the take-off point. The cruising speed of the VT-30Ye is 55 km/h, and the practical ceiling reaches 4500[1]
