2019: Announcement

At the end of October, 2019 Motorola Solutions started the voice assistant for ambulance. The service received the name ViQi.

It allows users to obtain information from the databases placed in a cloud using voice commands. At the same time ViQi understands a slang of rescuers, emergency doctors and police that allows it to be guided easily in a situation. Initially ViQi trained to carry out the most widespread tasks, such as search of license plate number of the car, information on driver's licenses and identification numbers of vehicles. Future versions of ViQi, developers report, will use more databases, will be able to take notes and also to translate the speech from foreign languages.

ViQi is not lonely in the niche — it practically differs in nothing from other voice assistant for first aid of Panic Bot from Orion Labs, transfers the VentureBeat edition. The Orion company also develops applications for work with natural languages which allow to help people to give first aid by the victim in cutoff conditions.

Besides, there is an Audrey application from Jet Propulsion Laboratory company which collects thousands of data from sensors and offers a set of additional tools for accomplishment of different tasks. This application is capable to adjust appointments and dosages, to transcribe and analyze different records and also to autocomplete documentation on first aid.

Even Amazon Alexa can be used for emergency medical service: it can give crucial information in the mode of a public address system on demand. The American service of ambulance intends to install by ambulance cars the Echo Dots application which will be able to give to rescuers the brief information on different critical conditions and the corresponding treatment.[1]
