For owners of XC90 of the 2016th model year in September, 2017 possible upgrade of a system of semiautonomous management of Pilot Assist to the second generation. It is possible to update a system in salon of any official dealer of Volvo.

On September 4, 2017 the Continental Tires RUS company announced that it of Volvo Cars approved the buses ContiEcoContact 5, ContiSportContact 5 and ContiCrossContact LX Sport (sizes 235/60 R 18, 235/55 R 19 and 255/45 R 20 respectively) for use as the original equipment on the new car of the class SUV — Volvo XC 60.

All buses are marked by an abbreviation of "VOL" after the indication of the size to designate difference of the original equipment of Volvo Cars from normal production model.

In the market of spare parts of the bus it is possible to purchase in Volvo salons and at dealers of buses; the 20-inch model is on sale only in the USA.

ContiSilent technology

Two ContiSportContact 5 models of size 235/55 R 19 and ContiCrossContact LX Sport of size 255/45 R 20 are equipped with ContiSilent technology. These buses have a special covering of an internal part of a protector which considerably reduces noise from contact of the bus with the road that does the movement by even more comfortable.

It got approvals of many European, American and Japanese producers of cars of the class SUV and became also already popular product in the market of spare parts. Being the bus for powerful cars, it provides good coupling with a covering. The bus has an exact response to steering influence on the wet and dry road and a high hodimost and comfort of the movement. ContiCrossContact LX Sport can be applied also on light off road terrain.
