Whist the Digital platform for mountain production

The companies "Digit" and VIST Group signed on July 10, 2018 the agreement on strategic partnership for the purpose of creation of the first in Russia the digital platform for mountain production.

According to representatives of VIST Group, the digital platform will present integrated solution from "an intellectual pit" to enrichment factories. The platform will allow to digitize all stages of mountain production using artificial intelligence technologies: drilling and explosive works, an intellectual pit with pilotless transport, crushing and mineral processing.

In particular, pilotless transport (dump trucks, excavators, bulldozers) will be integrated into a uniform numerical control system by a mining-transport complex. Environmental control will become an important part of the platform: monitoring of air and water will be performed. Total investments into the projects implemented within cooperation at the first stage will make 300 million rubles.

The platform will allow to integrate opportunities and experience of Digit in the field of artificial intelligence and industry expertize of VIST Group in the mining industry.

The purpose of the agreement is integration of digital technologies of "smart production" of both companies on the basis of a single platform within the concept of industrial Internet of Things for the different industries. The synergy of technologies of both companies will promote commercialization of solutions in international markets which are strategic for VIST Group — Dmitry Vladimirov, the CEO of VIST Group commented on an event.

"The digital platform" will be developed for the Russian and international markets. In 2019 the beginning of sales in Vietnam, Indonesia, India and Chile, in 2020 — in South Africa is planned.
