World Data Centres of MTS Nizhny Novgorod

In June, 2018 MTS provided a modular data processing center, increased capacities for virtualization of IT infrastructure of corporate clients and expansion of a portfolio of digital services for business.

Opening of data center will allow MTS to increase volumes of services and services for corporate clients in such areas as system integration, storage and data processing, backup, transfer of IT-systems in the protected cloud #CloudМТС and also services in processing of data bulks by means of BDaaS-infrastructure of MTS (Big-Data-as-a-Service).

Cumulative investments of MTS into new data center will make 2.5 billion rubles. The modular DPC differs from traditional data centers in an opportunity to scale necessary computing powers under a specific objective.

The distributed system of DPCs of MTS and use of the modern equipment of the leading vendors guarantee uninterrupted operation of work and high quality of services".

The Nizhny Novgorod DPC became the second in the territory of Nizhny Novgorod and the ninth in federal network of data centers of MTS which are located in the large Russian cities: three centers in Moscow, on one in Samara, Novosibirsk, Vladivostok and Krasnodar. Construction of engineering infrastructure was executed by child system integrator "Nvision Group". MTS will construct the following modular data centers in St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk and in one of the cities of the Southern Federal District.
