2019: Xerox DocuMate 6710

On August 28, 2019 the Xerox company announced release of the Xerox DocuMate 6710 scanner.

According to the company, Xerox DocuMate 6710 is capable to accelerate digitization of documents thanks to support of connection of several scanners to one PC. At the same time they can be used at the same time or to scan documents on one and at the same time to configure another. Such technology several times increases the number of pages which can be scanned for unit of time.

The Xerox DocuMate 6710 scanner was created especially for work with the large volume of paper documentation. For example, with claims of pre-judicial settlement in the legal organizations, stories of diseases in medical institutions, tests and personal records of students in universities.

According to the license agreement about use of the trademark of Xerox, the DocuMate 6710 scanner will be made and extended by Visioneer company according to the quality standards of Xerox.

Actual performance consists of a combination of scanning speed, the built-in functions of image processing, opportunities of the connected PC and software which saves and sends the digitized documents. Xerox DocuMate 6710 provides the scanning speed of 100 pages per minute thanks to the following advantages:

• The Visioneer On-Board Acuity technology includes 15 algorithms of image enhancement. Thanks to it processes, exacting to resources, are executed before data arrive on the computer.
• Full support of USB 3.0 accelerates data exchange between the scanner and the PC.
• The Visioneer Acuity technology analyzes and helps to use better available memory and computing power of the connected computer that it did not become a weak link at digitization of documents.
• The maximum load of 35,000 pages in day and the 300-page automatic feeder of originals allow to scan the large volume of documents.

Xerox DocuMate 6710 is equipped with Visioneer OneTouch and Acuity technologies which allow operators to configure all stages of operation of the device from scanning before sending or preserving of the ready file. It is possible to set up to 90 sets of parameters for August, 2019 and to start them from a scanner control panel. At the same time different types of works can be executed along with one PC at parallel scanning. The solutions Visioneer TWAIN DriverPLUS and Acuity allow to save ready documents or to export them to applications.

For August, 2019 the Xerox DocuMate 6710 scanner is available to the order in Russia.

2018: DocuMate 6460 и DocuMate 6480

On March 22, 2018 the Xerox company started the compact lingering Xerox DocuMate 6460 and Xerox DocuMate 6480 scanners. According to the producer, models provide the high speed of digitization of documents in a format A4 line, differ in the increased reliability and flexible functionality.

It is possible to load up to 120 documents of different types into the automatic feeder of scanners and to scan them in the bilateral mode with a speed up to 140 (for Xerox DocuMate 6460) or up to 176 (for Xerox DocuMate 6480) pages per minute in the bilateral mode. It allows to apply Xerox DocuMate 6460 and Xerox DocuMate 6480 at offices with intensive document flow.

The improved feed gear of originals increases reliability of devices and allow to digitize up to 10,000 pages in day, noted in Xerox. Simultaneous capture of several documents is excluded thanks to the ultrasonic system of detection of multiple giving.

Xerox DocuMate 6460 scanner

The Xerox DocuMate 6460 and Xerox DocuMate 6480 automatic feeder supports documents to 241 mm in width and up to 5994 mm in length. In particular, the special scan mode of plastic cards is available.

Thanks to integration of software of Visioneer and Nuance of the device allow to digitize quickly and conveniently documents. According to representatives of Xerox company, ample opportunities of correction of images, preserving them in popular formats and routing of files are available to users:

• Instant start of one of nine preset scan modes and preserving of documents.

2016: DocuMate 6440

Xerox DocuMate 6440 is fast and high-quality digitization of a big flow of documents.

On October 20, 2016 the Xerox company announced start of the high-performance Xerox DocuMate 6440 scanner.

The device is equipped with the modern software for processing of results of scanning and automation of workflows.

Lingering the Xerox DocuMate 6440 scanner digitizes up to 60 sheets a minute both in monochrome, and in the color mode. At the same time high detailing of results of scanning is provided by the CCD array with the optical resolution of 600 dpi. The device is equipped with the two-sided automatic feeder of originals on 80 sheets (at the density from 75 to 80 g/m2). The maximum size of the originals suitable for loading in the scanner is 216 x 2997 mm. Along with normal paper documents the automatic feeder supports plastic cards up to 1.25 mm thick, photos and other materials with a density from 28 to 400 g/m2.

The Xerox DocuMate 6440 functions well will suit the companies which work in the field of finance, power, education and health care and also to public institutions and industrial enterprises.

The scanner is delivered with a complex of powerful software solutions which help to carry out routine working tasks more effectively.

• Visioneer OneTouch allows to scan, process and save a one click of the button documents on one of nine preset scenarios. After scanning and processing files can automatically go by e-mail, to the printer, to the folder or to a cloud.
• Visioneer Acuity with DriverPLUS technology executes intellectual correction of results of scanning to prepare them for archiving or optical recognition.
• Nuance OmniPage Ultimate performs exact optical recognition of the scanned images and quickly transforms them to text documents with preserving of structure and a possibility of formatting.
• Nuance PaperPort transforms results of scanning to the qualitative PDF files with a search capability in the text, creating convenient storage system of electronic documents.
• Nuance Power PDF contains all necessary intelligent tools for creation, converting, editing, assembly and safe file transfer of PDF. Also this solution supports an application package of Microsoft Office and is integrated with management systems for document flow.

2015

DocuMate 5460i

On December 3, 2015 the Xerox company announced release of the lingering Xerox DocuMate 5460i scanner.

The updated device is capable to scan originals to 4953 mm in length now, and its maximum load is increased up to 6000 pages a day. Xerox DocuMate 5460i works with speed of 60 pages per minute both in monochrome, and in the color mode. The device provides high detailing of digitization thanks to optical permission of 600 dpi.

• Scanning speed of 60 p/min. (120 images/min.) in the color and black-and-white modes (book orientation, A4, 200 dpi);
• Existence of BONDS sensor of recognition of multisheet capture;
• Existence of function of detection of a bend which stops operation of the scanner at detection of the sheet with a folded corner. If necessary this function can be deactivated (for example, when scanning envelopes);

DocuMate 4830i

On December 3, 2015 the Xerox company announced start of the flat bed scanner Xerox DocuMate 4830i.

The model differs from the predecessor in the improved software and the increased scanning speed in the monochrome mode — 50 pages per minute. In the color mode the scanner digitizes 30 pages per minute. Optical permission of Xerox DocuMate 4830i makes 600 dpi that provides high detailing of the digitized documents. The scanner supports originals to 2997 mm in length and can process up to 3000 pages a day.

The Xerox DocuMate 4830i scanner well will be suitable for fast and convenient processing of large volume of paper documents, including with non-standard sizes and different density. The device can be especially useful to financial services and accounting, services of storage and logistics, legal and insurance departments.

DocuMate 152i

November 19, 2015. The Xerox company started lingering the document scanner Xerox DocuMate 152i.

Having for 40% the bigger scanning speed and the improved hardware, it significantly exceeds the predecessor of Xerox DocuMate 152 on performance. The new scanner can digitize up to 25 bilateral documents per minute, and results of scanning remain on the computer or in a cloud in the PDF format with a search capability in the text.

The upgraded Xerox DocuMate 152i is equipped with the 50-page automatic feeder and instantly lighting up LED lamps thanks to which the device is ready to the beginning of work at any time. New configurations of scanning OneTouch open access to all advantages of the Acuity functions and at the same time do not require from employees to learn to change the preset configurations. It will be appreciated by exacting users who digitize different document types. Besides, the OneTouch technology allows users to create rules for accomplishment of daily multistage tasks and to automatically send the scanned images directly to cloud applicaions.

The scanner is delivered with powerful tool kit, developed to systematize documents and quickly to find in them information. Nuance PaperPort (the leading software for management of documents on desktop PCs), Nuance OmniPage Pro and Nuance Power PDF are integrated into the device. DriverPLUS and full-function drivers of TWAIN for computers based on Windows and Mac OS are also included in the delivery. And WIA, ICA and ISIS provide a possibility of sending the scanned images almost in any corporate system of document management.

2011

DocuMate 3920

The Xerox company announced in October, 2011 start on the Russian market of the new network DocuMate 3920 duplex scanner. The device, available at the price, has all potential of network scanning and is held for use in the small and medium working groups. DocuMate 3920 provides full-color scanning and sending images to e-mail, network folders, on the printer and the fax.

DocuMate 3920 is the device designed to turn office scanning of documents into simple, most comfortable and fast occupation. The scanner does not require connection to the computer, it can be set in any place, comfortable for the employees, and is integrated with network devices: file server, e-mail server, FTP server, remote printer and fax. The efficiency and high performance of the device are caused by excellent technical characteristics: in the monochrome DocuMate 3920 mode scans with a speed of 20 p./min. (one-sided scanning) and 14 p./min. (double-sided scanning); co the speed of 10 p./min. (one-sided and double-sided) – in the color mode and also has the automatic feeder providing continuous scanning and transfer of 50 pages without loss of quality of images.

The friendly interface allows users to set without effort settings of scanning and sending full-color images to e-mail or to the file. Function of "scanning in e-mail" gives an opportunity of mailing of documents to several addresses in any of the offered formats: PDF, JPEG or TIFF. "Scanning in the file" supports the FTP, HTTP, HTTPS and CIFS protocols. In addition to the DocuMate 3920 functions, standard for the scanner, can perform work of the copier at connection to the printer through standard USB connection or play a fax role at integration with a telephone line.

DocuMate 3460

The Xerox company presented at the Russian market the new high-speed stream DocuMate 3460 scanner for the small and medium working groups. DocuMate 3460 is equipped with the intellectual software which allows employees to set a one click of the button necessary operation modes.

Having replaced the device DocuMate 262i in a line of stream scanners of Xerox, DocuMate 3460 expanded high-speed opportunities of professional duplex scanning to 120 pages per minute (and 60 p./min. at one-sided scanning respectively), at the same time having saved all significant advantages of the previous model.

To economy of time and labor costs of office employees it is directed also intellectual to software which equips the new scanner. Employees can add independently simulated scenarios of scanning to the standard list of the modes. Further processing of the digitized documents will also not cause problems thanks to the drivers of TWAIN/ISIS/WIA providing compatibility with all popular office applications.

The built-in ultrasonic sensor of multisheet capture of the Smart Ultrasonic Double Feed Detection series guarantees accurate automatic scanning of each page, completely excepting admissions of single sheets. When scanning plastic cards the sensor is switched-off, distinguishing the changed material density, and again automatically turns on upon transition to normal paper documents. Thus, users do not need to spend time for manual control of operation of the equipment any more.

According to Xerox, the high speed, most automated process of scanning and the intellectual software will allow the staff of the small and medium companies to optimize electronic document management and to lower time costs for digitization of documents.
