Xerox of PEB Full text digital library

Full text digital library of Xerox (PEB Xerox) - the specialized software automating a full stroke of creation and functioning of a full text digital library.

On June 18, 2015 the Xerox company announced start of version 3.0 of the solution "Full Text Digital Library of Xerox" ("PEB Xerox")^[1].

In a product the functions demanded in the library industry are implemented:

• support of mobile devices,
• stream reproduction of audio-and video files,
• work with books in Arabic
• formation of the expanded reporting.

The application works at a basis of a content management system of Xerox DocuShare and gives the chance to interact, both with text, and with multimedia resources. A system provides to readers secure access to the digitized funds with a search capability for attributes and in all text of documents. "PEB Xerox" supports service of printing of books on demand by circulation from one copy.

• • B solution "PEB Xerox" 3.0 is implemented support of any smartphones and tablets on the IOS platform and Android that helps libraries to reach the greatest scope of audience, and to readers – to get simple and convenient access to electronic resources from any place in the world where there is a connection to the Internet. The mobile interface "PEB Xerox" ensures a full-fledged work of functions of search in funds and the protected viewing documents with navigation in the text.

• Module of stream reproduction of audio-and video files

• • B of version 3.0 "PEB Xerox" to storage functions and loadings of audio-and video files the feature for their stream reproduction is added. Use of the built-in online player helps libraries to provide secure access to the text and multimedia resources. At the same time, the user does not need to load the file entirely to understand whether it contains required information.

• The improved module of the protected viewing and opportunity for work with books in Arabic

• • the Updated module of the protected viewing works at a basis of the modern HTML5 standard giving new opportunities of processing of content of different formats without additional expansions. Also in the new version "PEB Xerox" the feature for viewing books in Arabic with scrolling of pages from left to right and function of full-text search was added.

• Expanded module of statistics

• • the Module of statistics allows to create reports with information on number of addressing each edition and on quantity of the resources loaded by users for the set period.
