Regarding prices for the service, the company told TAdviser that in closed testing mode, users will be able to try Yandex BareMetal for free, and added that "in the future, of course, charging will appear and will correspond to the market."
At the same time, the company could not clarify what equipment will be available to customers.
Yandex Cloud notes that Yandex BareMetal can be used together with the Yandex Cloud cloud infrastructure for different scenarios where dedicated servers are needed. The service provides integration with the tools of the cloud platform for connecting backup, data migration.
Client companies will be able to choose in Yandex BareMetal the necessary server configuration with a certain number of cores and memory for their task. You can manage this in a special console, as well as use a single support center, billing and the provider's access control system.
