In the seventh version of the Yandex Mobile Ads SDK, app publishers gained additional opportunities to grow advertising revenue. Now applications can be monetized using the Lenta advertising format, and new designs have appeared in full-screen formats.
The Tape format allows you to display dozens of different ads in one ad block. This format is suitable for utilities, news, classifications and other scrolling applications. At the time of launch, SDK 7 "Tape" is available in beta mode for Android applications.
In full-screen formats - "Reward Ads" and "Interstitial Ads" - there are new advertising mechanics that will help increase user engagement. This will lead to an increase in conversions for advertisers and, as a result, the income of app publishers.
Full-screen formats can now display multiple ads in a row in a single AdPod. At the end of the announcement, an interactive packshot screen was added, which is automatically formed on the basis of advertising content (EndCard). The final screen increases the awareness of the promoted offer and creates an additional point of contact with the ad.
For iOS, the ability to install the application directly from the announcement (SKOverlay) in one click has also been added. You don't need to go to the App Store for this, so users will remain in the application in which they saw the ad.
The developers received a tool for debugging ads in the application - Debug Panel. This tool helps you verify that the SDK is integrated correctly and that your personal data protection information is up-to-date. Debug Panel is only available for Android apps.

The updated version of the SDK also has an automatic adaptation of banner sizes for a specific application. Developers will be able to manage them in two ways: stickySize and inlineSize. The first is intended for small banner strips that occupy no more than 15% of the screen height, and the second for adaptive banners built into the content.
In this version of the Mobile Ads SDK, DivKit technology is supported in all ad formats. Using this algorithm, the most suitable set of announcement elements and their location are selected for each user without additional actions on the part of the developer. Thus, advertising becomes more attractive and noticeable - this allows you to grow conversions and income of developers.
According to Yandex, as of September 2023, more than 10 thousand applications are already earning using Yandex Mobile Ads SDK monetization technologies. More than 300 thousand direct advertisers, as well as more than 80 DSP networks, are already taking part in the auction of advertisements.
