Zecurion PAM 2.0

On December 21, 2018 the Zecurion company announced release of upgraded version of the solution for control of privileged users of Zecurion PAM 2.0 (Privileged Access Management). In the provided version support of the Active Directory is expanded, control of applications in RDP sessions is added and system operation speed is increased.

According to the statement of the developer, in Zecurion PAM 2.0 the feature for the granulated control in sessions of privileged users is added. The provided version allows to limit a RDP session only to one application. For example, using PAM it is possible to give access only to the management console Microsoft of the Active Directory, SQL Server Management Studio or 1C.

Support of use of accounts of Microsoft Active Directory for authentication of privileged users on the PAM server became one more addition. At the same time in Zecurion PAM there was a connectivity of internal users. Authentication of security officers in the PAM web interface is also performed using domain accounts, emphasized in Zecurion.

In Zecurion PAM 2.0 there was an opportunity to create connections to direct systems in "the transparent mode" — privileged users, as before, will use the accounts for access to direct systems. At the same time access is possible only via the PAM server which will control and write all actions, noted in Zecurion.

Also in the provided version, according to the developer, speed was significantly increased and reliability of system operation at heavy loads is increased and also requirements of Zecurion PAM to resources are reduced. For example, algorithms of record of video were changed thanks to what the overall performance of a system is increased, and the disk space required for video was reduced in more than 5 times. Besides, point changes were made to the web interface for more convenient and comfortable use.

Inclusion of Zecurion PAM in the register of the Russian software

On August 22, 2018 it became known that the Ministry of digital development, communication and mass communications published the order on inclusion in the register of domestic software of Zecurion PAM — a product for the control of privileged users in corporate environment created in Russia without use of the foreign code.

Zecurion PAM (Privileged Access Management) controls actions of privileged users, reveals suspicious activity and allows to be connected to sessions with a possibility of their gap in real time. A system keeps record of all actions of employees, including in video format. For watching videos saved in the management console the videoplayer with scrolling and other interactive functions is built-in.

Zecurion PAM is developed without use of the foreign open or proprietary code by development team with experience in the field of protection against internal threats. Simplicity of deployment and setup of the solution in an enterprise-segment (over 100 thousand workstations) and existence of the qualified Russian-language support distinguishes from foreign analogs of Zecurion PAM.

At the same time with Zecurion PAM to the register data on Zecurion SWG — an enterprise-product for the analysis of traffic and access control of employees are added to web resources. Both added to the register of a product the state customers can purchase within purchases according to the import substitution program.

The problem of control of privileged users for the companies of large business is particularly acute extremely. At the same time domestic consumers lack for solutions with full Russian-language support of vendor, but not by forces of one-two engineers of integrator all over the country.
