2025: TED Launch
The Tensor company has launched the technology of cross-border electronic document management (TED) between Russia and Belarus. Within the framework of the pilot project of the Federal Tax Service of Russia and the Ministry of Taxes and Duties of the Republic of Belarus, the TEDO was tested with the participation of Belarusian providers Electronic Documents and Invoices LLC (EDIN) and Modern Trade Technologies LLC (EDI-provider STT). Tensor announced this on April 2, 2025.
The first deals in digital format have already been carried out by Mark Formelle, Savushkin Product, Belarusian Cement Holding, etc.
Business partners from Russia and Belarus can exchange legally significant documents online using the usual EDO systems and electronic signatures of their countries. The validity of the signature is confirmed by a trusted third party (DTS). This is a certification center with the authority and ability to verify foreign electronic signatures.
The first Belarusian business to test the TEDO was knitted clothing manufacturer Mark Formelle. The business structure includes 18 production sites and 300 stores, including in Russia.
Previously, documents were handed over manually: invoices were filled out, printed and sent by courier mail, which took more than 3 days. Now processes are automated, and files between departments are signed and processed in an average of 1 hours. In the first 7 months of the system, Mark Formelle signed 3.8 thousand electronic documents.
{{quote 'author=said Victor Vozny, IT Director of Mark Formelle Group of Companies. | The TED allowed us to reduce the cost of printing and delivery of documents, as well as speed up interaction with Russian partners. Compliance with the legal requirements of the two countries has also become an important plus: the system is automatically updated in case of changes in regulations,}}
Other Belarusian companies also joined the cross-border EDO. Savushkin Product automated the transfer of electronic shipping documents, reducing the time for cargo processing. The Belarusian cement holding has tested an updated version of electronic invoices approved by the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation, and is preparing to transfer all deliveries to digital format.
Thanks to the launch of the TEDO, the business does not depend on courier services and paper document management, and the cost of printing and delivering documents abroad is reduced to 80%.
In addition to cooperation with EDIN and STT, cross-border EDO is also being implemented with EDI providers Bidmarts and Metaera. Such a variety of partners allows you to connect any organizations of the Republic of Belarus to the cross-border EDO. The business will be able to exchange both formalized documents (UPD, TORG-2) and informal (contracts, additional agreements, catalogs, etc.), signing them with a qualified electronic signature (KEP). This provides companies with more opportunities for digital interaction and the convenience of doing business in an international format.
