On February 5, 2026, Nanosoft announced that Profstal had automated the accounting of construction costs through the integration of nanoCAD and 1C.

As reported, the company did not just automate the routine - it created a digital ecosystem where nanoCAD design and 1C cost management became a single, unmistakable process. The calculation time was reduced by 2-3 times, the volume of processed applications doubled, and sales for designer projects more than doubled.

"Profstal" step by step built the integration of the "SPDS" component of the nanoCAD Platform and 1C:ERP through Microsoft SQL Server. From designing digital sandwich panel twins to automatically unloading specifications, this technology chain eliminates errors and saves hundreds of hours of working time.

The main possibility of Profstal is comprehensive engineering support of projects, where the accuracy of calculations and timing are crucial. To increase this opportunity and take cost management to the next level, the company's management decided to create a cost accounting infrastructure from the construction project to the finished facility.

Before implementation, specific tasks were set:

  • Increase the number of requests being processed
  • Eliminate data gaps between Engineering and Accounting
  • Automate material cost accounting right at the design stage
  • eliminate errors when transferring data from specifications to estimates;
  • reduce the time for preparation and updating of design documentation by 2-3 times;
  • improve the quality of customer service due to the speed and accuracy of calculations;
  • build a scalable digital construction project management ecosystem.

SPDS

The more rows in the plan, the higher the probability of generating errors and increasing costs in the process of achieving the result. Some methods allow you to get rid of such generations:

  • Significant volumes of construction and installation works that require the creation of detailed design documentation, work execution plan, material supply plan and shift assignment plan, etc.
  • Creation of process chains of business transaction documents in the accounting system (1C main accounting system in the Russian Federation) using the "based" method. Such technologies make it possible to eliminate errors in entering data from the keyboard, since data from one document to another is transferred by the Based button.
  • Design in programs based on reference book elements (element base) identical to the item reference book in 1C. To do this, you need to constantly fill the directories and administer their maintenance.
  • Construction of data upload processes, generated specifications, from the program to the 1C accounting system, using the database for this.

The development, testing and implementation of Profstal JSC was carried out in the following environment:

The partner in the project for the supply of solutions "Nanosoft" was the company "Maxsoft-24."

The automation application, called Profstal, was created using the Object Wizard, MultiCAD.NET, and C++ API tools.

At the first stage, the main attention was paid to the process of calculating sandwich panels, since it was this type of nomenclature that required maximum time.

All characteristics of sandwich panels (length, width, etc.) were prescribed in 1C, so Profstal specialists could be sure that products would be manufactured in production according to the exact characteristics corresponding to the client's request.

The result of this process was the emergence of a digital model of panels that fully corresponds to their physical parameters and the capabilities of production equipment.

In order to easily manage projects and minimize routine operations, an integrated data exchange system has been developed. All necessary information from the 1C:ERP accounting system is automatically uploaded to the database on SQLserver-. Further, this data is transferred to the specialized software nanoCAD Platform, the SPDS component, where all the required calculations are performed and project specifications are formed. After the calculations are completed, the project data is exported to the database on the SQL server. Then, with the help of processing, information it enters the 1C:ERP system.

This integration allows you to store all information for each project in a single repository, providing access to all the necessary data. It now takes only a few minutes to make changes and adjustments, which streamlines your workflow and improves your overall productivity.

The program is equipped with all the necessary functions for creating projects, including a variety of control tools. These mechanisms ensure that only products that can be manufactured taking into account the capabilities of the production equipment of Profstal JSC enter production. If, for some reason, the product parameter, such as the length of the sandwich panel, differs from the production specifications, the program will offer a similar length that is available for manufacture.

One of the functions of the program is automatic numbering of products on installation diagrams. This solution allows you to optimally organize the placement of materials on construction sites, right in the areas of the upcoming installation. Since the company has many customers and facilities under construction, this also prevents confusion in the supply of products. This approach optimizes logistics and reduces the likelihood of design errors.

Several times we tested the program with engineers who gave advice on what needs to be changed or modernized. Now, according to the finished drawing, the calculation takes 4 minutes, and we can hire larger-scale projects that we used to have to abandon.

Engineers using the SPDS component for calculations noted a number of key features that make the work convenient and effective:

  • updating projects and uploading data to the accounting system take a minimum amount of time, allowing you to quickly respond to changes;
  • Customized templates for project managers significantly reduce the time required to complete project documentation.

These characteristics make the SPDS component a tool that helps engineers effectively solve problems and improve productivity.

The installation teams of Profstal customers assessed the quality and format of the drawings created using the nanoCAD component of the SPDS Platform nanoCAD, noting their simplicity and clarity. Wiring diagrams have become easy to perceive due to the thoughtful structure and convenient format of information presentation. Of particular value is the numbering of products in the drawing, which allows rational distribution of materials among the installation areas. This solution optimizes the organization of work on the construction site and helps to improve the overall efficiency of the process.

The integration of nanoCAD with 1C:ERP helped to eliminate errors in the calculation and transfer of data, which optimized the workflow. The time required to complete the calculations was reduced by 2-3 times, which made it possible to process twice as many applications. From 2020 to 2024, sales by calculations of design engineers more than doubled.

Automation of processes ensured optimization of the customer service quality and increased sales volume. These results demonstrate the correctness of selected strategies and the importance of implementing innovative technologies.
