UEC implements domestic production and supply chain management system

2025: Start of Test Operation of Production and Supply Chain Management System

The United Engine Corporation of Rostec State Corporation has launched a test operation of the Russian production and supply chain management system. After testing, a domestic IT solution will be implemented at all enterprises of the corporation. UEC-STAR announced this on February 24, 2025.

The Russian Production and Supply Chain Management System (CMS) is based on the 1C platform. The software allows you to plan production processes in detail and control the execution of tasks in a single digital space.

Digitalization of the production system is inextricably linked with import substitution of software products. In February 2025, the third stage of the project for the creation of a CMS is being completed and preparations are underway for the next. After successful testing, the program will be implemented at all UEC enterprises. Thus, we will increase the efficiency of production process management and will be able to control all stages of supply chain management in a single digital space, "said Valery Teplov, UEC Production Director.

The domestic program is being implemented at the Perm enterprise UEC-STAR. Test operation is carried out in the mechanical assembly and assembly and testing workshops of the enterprise and will last two months. Then all production units of the Perm enterprise will join it.

As of February 2025, 150 UEC-STAR employees are trained to work in the CMS. Employees of the production planning department were the first to study Russian software. They form orders from which the step-by-step structure of the production and supply chain management process is calculated. Also, technologists, masters and specialists of the planning and dispatch bureau of the enterprise began to master the work in the Russian program.

The domestic software ISMS was developed jointly with the company "SPC" 1C "with grant support from the Russian Fund for the Development of Information Technologies (RFRIT). The software was created as part of a particularly significant project to improve and implement the production and supply chain management system at machine-building enterprises with internal cooperation.
