"The Baikal mining company" started the Appius-PLM of UPSD system in operation

On September 27, 2017 the Appius company announced input in "The Baikal mining company" of the Appius-PLM Management of the design estimates system (further "Appius-PLM of UPSD") in trial operation.

The selected solution

"Appius-PLM of UPSD" is the original configuration working at the 1C:Enterprise 8.3 platform in regime of the thin client. For project implementation "The Baikal mining company" selected the box version of a system from Appius.

Training in work with a system

Specialists of BGK company in August, 2017 were trained on work with the Appius-PLM of UPSD system. Training took place in office BGK. At the first stage training was provided at a fact-finding course of the user on work with the UPSD Appius-PLM system. The teacher told about process control of preparation of the design estimates coming from design institutes according to the general scheme of development process, release, approval and approval of the design and estimate documentation to BGK.

After the theory, the second stage, gave practical lessons, beginning from loading in the system of the project documentation according to the delivery note and finishing with passing of a full stroke of consideration of documentation by specialists of the enterprise with formation of notes, the result sheet of consideration of documentation and the accompanying delivery note. Also during the practical lessons the list of necessary completions of a system which were implemented in the next two weeks after training gradually formed.

The third grade level was devoted to administration of the Appius-PLM of UPSD system within which the possibilities on thin setup of a system under requirements of the customer were considered.

Project Results

As a result of operational work of the project manager from the customer BGK brought the Appius-PLM of UPSD system into trial operation in one month.
