Yandex.Market started the first regional logistic complex based on Infor WMS system

On March 25, 2019 the Infor company announced start the solutions Infor SCE in the fulfillment-center of a marketplace "I take", opened in December, 2018 in the Rostov region.

According to the company, within development of the platform the command of Beru in December, 2018 started the first own logistic complex in the Rostov region. The project equally is of interest as to buyers who will be able to receive the ordered goods within 1–2 days, and for business which receives the effective sales channel of the products. The fulfillment-center in the Aksay district of the Rostov region which in the long term should provide fast delivery for all South of Russia became the first logistic complex which was going to be opened within this project.

For full control of warehouse and logistic processes of the complex of 5000 square meters expected storage of one million units of goods, Yandex.Market selected the software of Infor SCE. As integrator the LT Management company was selected. Observance of deadlines (the project needed to be completed until the end of December to provide satisfaction of the seasonal demand during New Year's holidays) and ensuring accuracy of a complete set of orders became key requirements.

As a result the project managed to be completed in necessary terms (about 3 months). During this time the LT Management company developed special methodology using the Agile elements, performed design, prototyping and implementing solution and also provided completions of a system taking into account individual requirements of the customer.

Implementing solution allowed the customer to automate the majority of warehouse transactions. For March, 2019 Yandex.Market uses the solution of Infor SCE for providing a full stroke of logistic processes of the Rostov fulmilment-center: deliveries, storages, complete sets and sendings orders. The solution allows Market to manage the assets in the best way: — also provides with stocks, labor power, space and the equipment the target accuracy figure of a complete set of orders close to 100%.
