The group ABB completed solution deployment of a business intelligence from SAP

The ABB company and EVOLA company announced on April 4, 2013 project completion on creation of an analytical system for ABB company in Russia using the SAP solution NetWeaver Business Warehouse.

Tasks

Main objective of the project - ensuring business with information opportunities of the analysis and timely acceptance of management decisions in such functional areas as sales, logistics, project management, finance and costs.

Implementation

The project team implemented the flexible system of the analytical reporting on the platform SAP BI which replaced labor-consuming reports of a system ERP. It allowed to lower significantly load of a transaction system SAP ERP, to give to users additional opportunities of information analysis, to accelerate report execution, on average, by 8 times.

In a project deliverable reports on the following areas are implemented:

• Financial statements (Finance) - the analysis of open positions (creditor and receivables), rasterization of debt, the detailed analysis.
• Controlling is data analysis by the orders (received, implemented, not implemented), to revenue, costs and profit by divisions, clients, products and services, orders, projects and other characteristics.
• Project management is the analyst's plan/fact, information on the received orders, to revenue, costs, open orders.
• Supply Chain Management is the overview of stocks, inventory turnover, the movement of materials.
