Moscow Mayor's Office transfers the investment system to its own OS and DBMS for 1.1 billion rubles

In mid-September 2025, it became known that the Moscow Mayor's Office was transferring the capital's automated information system "Investment Management" (AIS UID) to its own software. The implementation of the project will cost 1.1 billion rubles.

In MosHub turn, Mos.DB, according to available information, is based on - PostgreSQL compliant versions 16 DBMS and higher.

The project also provides for the use of a number of other software components. So, to ensure full-text search, OpenSearch 1.2 + technology will be introduced, and for caching data and improving performance - resident DBMS Redis 6 +. It is planned to use a message broker that Apache Kafka will ensure interaction between the modules of the system. The cross-platform Kestrel web server is mentioned.

Within the framework of the platform, a microservice architecture will be used ― this is an approach to software development, in which the final application or system is formed from small independent services. In addition, it is planned to optimize the internal structure and codebase of the system, which will improve performance and scalability, as well as simplify further support. The platform will include the "Training Subsystem for External Users," which will allow investors and entrepreneurs to independently master the functionality of the portal. The existing customer infrastructure will be used to deploy the new software.^[1]
