The ATH Business Travel Solution company develops an internal IP telephony

The IBS Platformix company completed the project of creation of telephone IP network for ATH Business Travel Solution (ATH). In a single network two offices ATH in Moscow and St. Petersburg are connected.

Prerequisites

Earlier the ATH company used services of the local telecom operator, renting at it automatic telephone exchange services and connection to a public telephone network. With increase in volume of telephone traffic (local, long-distance, international) the cost of services also increased. Therefore the company was forced to look for ways of cost reduction on telephone communication.

"At the same time in a type of the fact that we became the member of the international partner network of the American Express Company of Global Business Travel we began to organize business trips across Russia and for her local and global clients too. In this regard ensuring business with available and simple means of communication became one of paramount tasks", – Nikolay Strizhov, the CEO of ATH noted.

Solution

The telephone IP network is unrolled at the Moscow office ATH based on the solution Avaya. The network integrated about 250 subscribers connected by wire and wireless IP phones. Also several meeting rooms for holding audio conferences were equipped. The Moscow IP network was combined with a telephone network of office in St. Petersburg using the telecommunication equipment which is already installed there.

The IP network was created taking into account growth of number of subscribers (1000 new) who are going to be connected within one and a half years.

Specialists of IBS Platformix for ATH develop also typical circuit of telephone IP network for a small amount of subscribers. If the company has a need of opening of new office, then the compatible IP network can use this scheme for creation in it. At the same time all offices will be united in the general number space.

Results

Now such services as are available to subscribers of telephone IP network: the organization of the voice menu and voice mailboxes, readdressing of calls, for example, on the mobile phones and similar services traditional for digital telephony. It is in the future going to implement a recording capability of telephone conversations with the purpose of quality improvement of services. In the long term the telephone IP network can be used also for the organization of own call center.
