ATTA Group designed a residential complex in a BIM solution from ASCON and Renga Software

2025: Application of ASCON and Renga BIM solutions

The project company ATTA Group has completed a pilot project on the use of an integrated solution ASCON for information modeling technology in (construction TIM/).BIM Architects and engineers created a digital information model of a 25-story block section of a residential complex using the Renga design system and a shared environment for data Pilot-BIM teamwork. The project was accompanied by the Regional ASCON Siberia Center. ASCON announced this on October 20, 2025.

After the termination of support for foreign BIM solutions, the company purposefully sought domestic analogues. The Renga + Pilot-BIM bundle was chosen according to the principle of "model + coordination."

During the pilot project at Renga, architectural (AR) and structural solutions (CR), as well as engineering equipment and networks (heating, part of ventilation systems) of the residential complex were modeled. Further, in Pilot-BIM, specialists gave comments on the model, controlled the development of tasks, searched for and eliminated collisions.

Verification of the BIM solution on a real project showed that domestic software closes most of the typical tasks of ATTA Group under the sections AP, KR, IOS. The company also assessed the speed of release of drawings and specifications based on the model and transparent coordination between sections of the project.

We look at the use of domestic solutions as a vector of development and are always ready to share feedback. The advantages of using Pilot-BIM were clearly noted due to the lack of similar coordination tools in our design process, "said Nikita Luft, head of the digital development office of ATTA Group, design engineer.

ATTA Group of Companies is an example of a strategic approach to the development of BIM processes using Russian software. At the first stage of our cooperation, the customer did not set the goal of completely replacing foreign software solutions used for October 2025. The main task was to form an effective heterogeneous design automation system in accordance with the BIM concept. We noted the readiness of the ATTA Group expert group to deep dive into the methodology of implementing projects using Renga and Pilot-BIM. Their interest was in building a holistic process, and not just in changing the instrument, which is especially valuable, - said Alexey Dyatlov, director of the BIM department of ASCON Siberia.
