2025: TopLog WMS Implementation
ABSOLUT automated warehouses with TopLog WMS. Toplog announced this on June 26, 2025.
The introduction of Russian software increased the transparency of logistics, accelerated warehouse operations and provided the company with the opportunity to independently develop and scale the WMS system.
ABSOLUT is one of the Russian distributors the household appliances, electronics and - IT productions. The company supplies equipment and components for assembling PCs and, servers develops its own brands in the segment of equipment and. electronic engineers
The introduction of the TopLog WMS warehouse management system has become part of a large-scale program for import substitution and the transition to Russian IT solutions. Simultaneously with the launch of WMS, ABSOLUT introduced a corporate information system based on the 1C platform. This approach made it possible to immediately build integration between key business processes.
A pilot project for the implementation of TopLog WMS was a warehouse complex in the Moscow region with an area of 40,000 square meters. m. The warehouse operates with high intensity and heterogeneous loads - there are more than 15,000 active SKUs in the system. Acceptance and shipment are carried out around the clock through 36 gates. To manage this range, you need fast and accurate accounting, complete transparency of warehouse operations at all stages and high WMS performance, ensuring uninterrupted operation even with large processing volumes.
TopLog WMS was implemented and configured by the Toplog project team with the active participation of the customer's IT department. The integrator was faced with the task of promptly replacing imported WMS, reworking the warehouse topology, optimizing processes taking into account new operations and requirements, improving traceability, as well as optimizing user forms.
Within the framework of the project, a number of system modifications were carried out, taking into account the peculiarities of the warehouse and the real processes of the company.
Changes have been implemented related to the accounting and movement of unique objects - goods with serial numbers.
The use of group barcodes is optimized - serial numbers can be massively loaded from the CIS and assigned to a pallet or box for further processing.
Added functionality to speed up and simplify the acceptance of the same type of product - the so-called batch acceptance. The function is effective when working with the supply of a large volume of mono-goods or the same items. The employee indicates the nomenclature, the number of pallets accepted, selects the stacking standard, and then, with one click on the shipping documentation, records the reception of the entire batch, in this case, a 40-foot container.
Work has been set up with goods taking into account shelf life, as well as with goods for which different commodity movement and processing schemes are used within the framework of one order.
Integration with Infoskan weighing equipment has been set up to accurately measure and transfer the weight and dimensions of goods to the system.
The warehouse works with different owners of the goods and provides 3PL services. Therefore, a billing module was configured in WMS, which allows you to automatically take into account and calculate the cost of logistics operations for each controller and service type.
In addition, a motivation management module and personnel KPI are installed, which allows you to calculate piecework based on the operations performed.
For operational control and decision-making, the Information Panels module is connected - a dashboard with customized reports with key figures, which is displayed on the large screen and shows the current situation in the warehouse.
The introduction of TopLog WMS allowed Absolut to achieve its goals: significantly increase the accuracy and speed of warehouse operations, reduce errors at all key stages and improve overall control over processes.
