The TransTeleCom company announced on May 31, 2013 agreement signature about cooperation in development of communication services and telecommunication infrastructure with city administration of Ukhta of the Komi Republic.

Broad band - high quality

Within the agreement TTK-North is going to continue promotion of services of network of broadband Internet access (broadband access) in Ukhta, to begin construction of infrastructure in remote districts of the city for providing high-speed Internet access to inhabitants of high-quality services. In the settlement of URMZ works on laying of fiber lines of communication will begin summer of 2013. Also construction of local communication networks in the settlement Distant is planned.

"In 2012 TTK-North expanded a zone of a technical scope in Ukhta, having provided with Internet access more than 300 houses of the city. We aim to provide with high-speed Internet access not only residents, but also nearby settlements where demand for service of the Internet is also high, – Evgeny Medkov, the CEO noted TTK-North. – It is sure that the next stage of development of a TTK in Ukhta will allow to satisfy the highest requests of future subscribers of the company".
