On June 11, 2015 the company Citrix announced implementation in an IT landscape of the company carrier Aer Lingus of systems NetScaler ShareFile, XenDesktop and XenMobile as key components for transition to more dynamic and cost-efficient IT infrastructure.

After implementation and start of systems in operation, pilots of Aer Lingus use iPad with support of 3G networks/4G for access to plans of flights and other important data through XenMobile that promotes creation of the workplace of the pilot protected and conforming to regulatory requirements where paper documents are not used.
