Agrolend implements SCADA

On December 25, 2013 the Promsystem company announced an implementation project of a control and management system for production processes of WinCC at the plant on an extraction of oil of Agrolend company.

Project Tasks

For constant control of difficult production cycles of an extraction and processing of oil-bearing crops at the enterprise implement AMSTP (automatic management system technology processes). Complex automation guarantees reliability of all production process and minimizes risk of occurrence of extreme situations.

The automatic management system controls processes:

• measurements of weight of raw materials
• temperature conditions
• process parameters
• production stock accounting of goods
• movement raw and goods flows

The multigradualness is characteristic for this purpose like production during processing and production of products owing to what it is necessary to control not only the main production processes, but their stages. It is considered in projects of complex automation of the enterprise.

One of solutions SCADA for productions of this kind - Simatic WinCC, represents a management system and observations with functions of control of the automated processes.

Project Results

At the beginning of December the Promsystem company (Promsystem LLC) finished commissioning at the Agrolend LLC plant.

A system which Promsystem LLC was implemented at this plant has a set of merits, main of which:

• Easy adaptation under standard and user programs therefore there are solutions on visualization which can meet different requirements.
• Open and simple interfaces in which it is possible to develop proprietary applications, purposefully building on system expansions on the basis of WinCC.

WinCC integrates on the platform Windows software solutions of firm Siemens, one of the leading product suppliers for works on process automation, and competence of the company Microsoft which is the leader in the software development area. WinCC – it not only a modern adaptable system, it is effectively projected and can be arranged as for accomplishment of simple, and difficult tasks. A system WinCC works with the equipment not only Siemens SIMATIC, but also other producers, such as Rockwell Automation, Mitsubishi Electric and Omron, VIPA using ORS technology.
