Akrikhin carried out upgrade of IT infrastructure

For increase in effective management of business processes, the level of information security, ensuring the maximum high-speed performance of the systems supporting a production cycle of the pharmaceutical company in "AKRIKHINE" the program for upgrade of IT infrastructure is started. The Asteros company is attracted to implementation of the project on updating of IT infrastructure, the press service of the company reported on October 30, 2012.

Objectives

In a work progress which final is planned for March, 2013 specialists of the IT company will book audit of the existing infrastructure, completely will update the park of the equipment and systems, will increase the capacity of servers, consolidate data in uniform storage. It is necessary to transfer the key systems and applications to the new virtual platform: Microsoft Active Directory Microsoft Exchange ERP HRM- a system, Electronic Document Management System and others.

For project implementation the blade servers of Dell PowerEdge, storage system of Hitachi Unified Storage, the system of virtualization VMware vSphere are selected highly productive and energy efficient. Service about 100 virtual machines and their centralized operation will be exercised using VMware vCenter Server. Replication of data will be configured so that the complete and relevant copy of all databases was available as in the main data center located in. Old Kupavna, and on the reserved platform in Moscow. In case of refusal the recovery time of operability of the equipment in Moscow should not exceed the main DPC 30 minutes with data loss no more than for 10 minutes.

Project Implementation

On November 9, 2015 the Asteros group announced creation of platform infrastructure for AKRIKHIN company. For November 9, 2015 the stage of system implementation of backup and recovery is completed.

Within the project specialists of Asteros created the hardware and software system ensuring functioning of 12 subsystems of the customer including:

• virtualizations,
• managements of databases,
• migrations of resources,
• backup and recovery,
• monitoring,
• antivirus protection and antispam
• others.

Akrikhin (2013)

The server complex is organized on the basis of blade-architecture and consists of several modules placed on three technology platforms of the customer in Moscow and the Moscow region. All of them are united in a single network of data transmission in which more than 1000 employees of "AKRIHIN" work.

The storage system provides access of servers to disk arrays, dynamic expansion or reconfiguring of disk space. At the same time system architecture provides step-by-step building of resources according to technical requirements.

The system of virtualization on the basis of technology of VMware of ESXi creates a uniform pool of dynamically distributed computing resources for ensuring functioning of software and operability of all components of IT infrastructure in virtual environment.

For November 9, 2015 the stage of creation of a backup system and data recovery which is intended for generation of duplicates of information on products of the customer is completed and should provide a possibility of fast recovery in case of damage or loss of data. A system completely corresponds to the politicians of backup accepted in "AKRIHIN". According to the carried-out tests, the recovery time of data for the critical systems is 1 hour, for noncritical – 24 hours. In composition the uniform server of management of backup, it provides a possibility of recovery on any of three platforms "AKRIHIN".

Project Development

On August 17, 2017 the Asteros group announced the project of upgrade of the AKRIHIN IT platform. The company integrator created failsafe data center, connected by fiber optic "ring" objects in the territory of a pharmzavod of 36 hectares.

Business objectives of the company demanded centralization of management of IT systems and upgrade of network infrastructure of factory objects. The Asteros group became the partner of the project.

The customer decided to replace a core of a server framework of the enterprise and to integrate management of computing powers of the plant in one data center. As the main technical solution for DPC the container platform of domestic production Telecore DataBox is selected. The module has 3 compartments: for the diesel generator set providing autonomous supply of electricity, server and vestibule blocks. The total maximum power of DPC is 30 KW. For maintenance of required parameters of active equipment specialists of Asteros created engineering infrastructure of the premises, including SCS, the systems of power supply, the main, emergency and evacuation lighting, air conditioning and others.

In comparison with construction of data centers 'from scratch', use of container solutions allows to optimize costs considerably: on the one hand, on construction of IT infrastructure, with another – on capacities which in case of need can be scaled easily. Independent operation of data center not less than 12 hours without refueling of DGU. The 100/80 kVA/kW UPS taking into account a reserve is involved in a system, time of its independent operation is not less than 8 min. For remote control and management of all key parameters of life support systems, the operational notification of personnel about emergence of potential threats, the monitoring system and remote control based on SCADA is created.

In composition of video surveillance of the camera Full HD in the platform, cold and hot corridors, on external perimeter of DPC. A security and fire system is implemented based on the equipment RACE CAR, automatic gas fire fighting is provided. At the same time engineering infrastructure of DPC is expected multiple re-deployments with blackout or connection to external communications without loss of functional and utilization properties.

In three months the Asteros company executed a complex design and survey and installation and construction works, laid more than 3 km of cable passages.

Using the implemented Asteros of the solution it was succeeded to reach the maximum reliability of an information and telecommunications network of the enterprise. We increased quality, speed and reliability of data transmission for the production site and auxiliary buildings.
