EME automated work of a warehouse complex of the Alabuga-Volokno plant

On June 26, 2019 the EME company announced project completion on automation of a warehouse complex of the modern plant on production of the carbon Alabuga-Volokno fiber entering UMATEX - "Perspective Materials and Technologies" division of ROSATOM State Corporation.

Carbon fiber as a part of light and strong composition materials is used in the space industry, aircraft industry, automotive industry, power, shipbuilding, the oil and gas industry, construction.

Problems of digitalization of production and warehouse complexes of the plant were delivered by the management of UMATEX in 2018. The integrator for the solution selected the Russian EME company.

The warehouse complex of class "A" of the plant is placed directly by production in the Alabuga SEZ, the Republic of Tatarstan. The total area of a complex – 5,000 sq.m. There are platforms both heated, and not heated.

Earlier the ALABUGA-VOLOKNO plant did not use WMS. An inventory and production control was carried out using 1C and standard tables of Excel. This approach did not provide the sufficient performance, speed and accuracy,

EME company developed and proposed the hybrid solution on automation of raw-material storages, production and finished goods.

During the project specialists of EME performed automation of accounting of the movement of goods on production and warehouses, including:

  • Acceptance and transfer of raw materials on production is automated;
  • The module of production (MES) which allows to obtain necessary data for formation of the production report on production is implemented;
  • The marking module is developed and implemented and also works on integration EME.WMS with the applicator of labels and the line of packaging are carried out. The module of marking is attendant workstation and allows to conduct process of marking of finished goods in the automatic mode.
  • The system of end-to-end accounting of finished goods allowing to trace on barcodes is developed and implemented as the movement of a unit of production is individual, and as a part of boxes and a pallet. A system allows to store the complete history of production and packaging of each serial unit of finished goods, even several years later.
  • Integration with the accounting system of the enterprise at platform 1C is provided.
