In Alfa-Bank the solution of personnel management on the SAP platform is implemented

Alfa-Bank selected a hardware platform of IBM Power for automation of a corporate system of personnel management on the SAP platform, the Diona Holding company contractor reported on April 22, 2013. The project is implemented by forces of the companies Diona Holding and Vision Solutions.

Deployment

Automation of a personnel management system of Alfa-Bank — the first stage of the project of automation of a number of corporate systems. Vertically scalable line of Power Systems will support the increasing loads of SAP, and the multi-user IBM i operating system will provide the high level of protection of a system. For ensuring fault tolerance of a system [1] the solution MIMIX of Vision Solutions company is selected.

Background

"Alfa-Bank looked for the solution which would allow to unroll environments of SAP with the smallest costs of time. It was also important to us to come to the decision which would require the minimum external influence at operation. The scalable, reliable and configured on SAP IBM Power Systems platform was selected proceeding from these requirements", – Artem Shakhverdyan, the deputy head of department of the integration systems of the Information technologies block of Alfa-Bank noted.
