Background of the project

In 2011 the decision on merge of three Russian companies of the international Allianz GroupROSNO, Progress-Garant and SAK Alliance was made. As main system on management of settlement of losses of car insurance of the united company, the management of Allianz was decided to take the accounting system of "EKD" ("An electronic card put") developed by Syntellect company for SK "Progress-Garant".

In 2013 in Allianz the decision on process automation of settlement of other types of insurance using Syntellect company was made, and as the basic workflow system the new Syntellect TESSA platform was selected.

Architects of Syntellect company collected the best technological solutions, including which were involved in EKD in TESSA. However, unlike custom development of "An electronic card of case", the solution based on TESSA is flexible and open for completion by forces of own specialists of Allianz and the different companies integrators, partners of Syntellect. A large number of tunings of a configuration of the solution is performed without programming.

Characteristics and features of the automated solution

As of November, 2016 in the TESSA system specialists of Allianz insurance company will settle losses on the following types of insurance:

  • Accident
  • All types of property losses
  • Inward reinsurance
  • Insurance going abroad

In TESSA the complete lifecycle of business settlement process of losses simply given on the scheme below is automated:

A system is deeply integrated with the Corporate information system (CIS) – the main accounting system of SK Allianz, and unique integration opportunities of TESSA regarding display and use of data of an external system without synchronization and duplication are used, in particular:

  • The card of a loss of insurance is partially virtual, i.e. contains weeding which is "on the fly" transparent for the user are loaded from CIS when opening a card;
  • In lists and reports the technology of virtual views of TESSA is used – representations display lists of different objects, reference books and reports directly from the accounting system of CIS or with the mixed data.

For carrying out payments for the approved losses in TESSA integration with SAP is implemented.

For clients, surveyors, brokers of SK Allianz in TESSA integration with the Personal account within which file transfer directly from the Personal account in a loss card in TESSA is performed is implemented.

At the moment in a system several hundred simultaneous users distributed across all territory of the Russian Federation without use of terminal solutions work.

Every month in TESSA several thousands of losses of different types is registered and will be settled.

It is remarkable that the implementation project and all settings of the TESSA system (including integration sheaves) are implemented independently by specialists of SK Allianz with the minimum involvement of external consultants.

Development plans

In the closest plans of Allianz for development of a system of settlement of losses based on TESSA – expansion of integration mechanisms, completions on fraud identification improvement (black lists, automatic signs of fraud, etc.).

Also in plans there is use of the full-function easy client of TESSA for work of experts of Allianz on departures (surveys, etc.) to have an opportunity to transfer photos of objects and documents to TESSA at once, directly from the place of survey.
