"Alpika-service" provides media representation of services of the resort

On June 26, 2014 it became known of an implementation project of the Digital Signage system in Alpika-Service company. Integrator in the project Elisa Russia company.

Project Tasks

Development of the region caused need of the solution of a number of tasks:

• informing tourists on services,
• ski slopes,
• resort opportunities;
• assistance in orientation of tourists;
• the direction of flows depending on a situation and loading;
• income acquisition due to sale of advertizing spaces in the territory under control "Alpika-service".

In a system were required:

• possibility of remote centralized operation;
• the clear interface with wide functionality;
• simplicity for mastering not by the technical specialist;
• flexible opportunities for setup and management;
• scalability;
• reliable, professional equipment;
• possibility of use, both indoors, and in the open air.

Project Progress

Made the decision - to implement in the territory of the resort the hardware and software system Digital Signage – the system of screens for the solution of commercial, information and navigation tasks. For the solution of assigned tasks the Elisa company was selected.

Within a year specialists of the contractor several times visited an object, studied the direction of the movement of flows of tourists, together with the owner defined the most effective places for placement of advertizing screens, the most convenient locations for placement of touch screens, booths, etc.

After that specialists of Elisa prepared the project documentation with reasonable recommendations about placement of each device, calculated suspension heights, described necessary requirements for preparation of each place and server and requirements to network.

73 displays are in total mounted.

Project Results

In structure the Digital Signage system in Alpika-Service ski resort:

• 2 videowalls (4х4 screens),
• 11 street screens, three of which touch,
• 11 interactive booths and screens in premises,
• 4 menu boards at restaurant (9 screens),
• 38 screens in premises,
• 2 booths for advertizing.

All professional screens and mediaplayers work 24/7, have reliable thin fastenings, are supplied with necessary erection facilities.

The server of a system the editor who is built in by multimedia for creation and editing new content with the functionality similar to Microso ſt has Power Point. Reproduction of rollers is performed according to the list for broadcasting on each of monitors, and controlled depending on time of day, a day of the week and the installed device.

The implemented solution assumes broadcast of any media content:

• pictures, videos and Flash-animation;
• presentations;
• websites;
• widgets with weather and news;
• interactive content with a possibility of navigation, for example, cards or product catalogs.
