Project Task
The growing organization structure of the enterprise, mastering of production technologies of new grades of cosmetics and active marketing policy revealed need for the organization of the seamless transparent productive activity covering the main business processes in the field of human resources management, finance and merchandising. At the level of merchandising – this production, purchases, sales, warehouse and transport logistics, promotion and sales. At the level of finance - management of debtors and creditors, bank and cash desk, accounting, tax and management accounting, fixed asset accounting. The complexity of a task consisted in considering specificity and duration of a supply chain of raw materials and component parts from abroad and also serious dependence of activity of buyers on a season. In these conditions the company management of Art Vizazh makes the decision on implementation of a complex corporate information system which main objective would be an ensuring interrelation of key activities of the company. Besides, the company needed the solution which support would not require involvement of the external companies or highly paid specialists and could be performed by own IT service.
The main requirements to the partner in system implementation were existence of serious examination in the field of accounting and planning on production, a rich portfolio of the implemented projects in the field and also presence of the qualified project team. Implement an implementation project of a corporate system the Microtest company was invited.
Solution
In June, 2005 specialists of Microtest company conducted detailed examination of the enterprise and offered the customer the concept of implementation and setup of the solution "Management of Manufacturing Enterprise" on the 1C: Enterprise 8.0 platform.
In the project progress specialists Microtest developed the solution which is completely considering specifics of business of the enterprise: all requirements caused by need of accounting of limited expiration dates, certifications of raw materials and finished goods and also were observed by territorial structure of the project.
"1C: Management of manufacturing enterprise 8" is the complete application solution covering the main guidance loops and accounting of Art-Vizazh company.
The solution allowed to automate the following business processes of Art-Vizazh company in full:
- Production management, including production planning, data management about raw materials and end products, cost management and cost accounting
- Management of finance, including budgeting, cash management and settlement, accounting and tax accounting, accounting according to IFRS, formation of the consolidated statements
- Management of a warehouse (stocks)
- Sales management
- Purchase management
- Management of the relations with buyers and suppliers
- Personnel management, including payroll
- Monitoring and analysis of indicators of activity of the enterprise
- Management of fixed assets and planning of repairs
- The solution builds a common information space for display of financial and economic activity of the company, covering the main business processes. At the same time access to the stored data and also possibilities of these or those actions depending on the status of users is accurately differentiated.
The achieved result
In a project deliverable the company management of Art-Vizazh Holding had an opportunity to see a complete picture of activity of the geographically distributed enterprise. Use of instruments of monitoring and the analysis of indicators of activity of the enterprise allow to predict future financial results and to warn possible negative situations.
The general information base covered all divisions entering an organization structure. On all organization accounting of information is conducted end-to-end managerial and regulated (accounting and tax). Departments of processing and sales received operational data on real existence of finished goods in warehouses and the expected receipts from production, means for operational formation of the diagram of needs for raw materials are provided.
The purchasing department had an opportunity quickly and in coordination to make delivery schedules. Thus, as a result of automation the set of typical potentially conflict situations was eliminated. In particular, in the absence of up-to-date data about existence on a finished goods warehouse there could be delays and inexact formation of orders according to requests of clients. Thanks to automation of warehouse logistics at the time of adoption of the request can already give the client exact information on existence of the goods ordered by it and delivery dates, and in the absence of necessary products - to offer alternative goods.
Process automation of production management allowed the enterprise to plan precisely production and to quickly make changes to the production schedule at emergence of urgent orders or decrease in interest in a specific type of goods. Use of functionality of management of fixed assets and planning of repairs reduces the probability of emergence of equipment downtimes that provides uninterrupted operation of work of production lines.
