About the Client

AvtoElement has been on the market for 9 years. It has warehouses with a total area of ​ ​ 1,000 square meters. m. The number of employees is 30 people. Offers customers a wide range of spare parts for cars. Sells available goods and delivers them on order. Works with a nomenclature of about 50,000 items. The company has gained the confidence of customers due to the high quality of products and competitive prices.

Project objectives

As the business progressed, the customer encountered accounting problems in the acceptance, placement, inventory of goods and other business transactions. Employees stopped coping with significant volumes of work, made mistakes.

The customer needed automation of warehouse processes, including the organization of targeted storage of goods. At the time of contacting our company, the client used the 1C: Trade Management account system 11 rev. and did not want to change it. It was necessary to choose solutions that integrate with this program.

Project Description

We have introduced 4 Urovo DT40 data collection terminals into the AvtoElement warehouse. We chose a modification with a built-in 2D scanner Urovo SE2030. Shipping documentation is equipped with an 8-core Cortex A53 processor, has a digital keyboard unit and a 4,500 mAh battery, runs on Android 9.0 OS. The customer also purchased accessories:

• spare battery (4,500 mAh);
• charging station (for 4 shipping documentation and 4 batteries);
• protective film on the screen for each model of the mobile terminal.

It was decided to implement the DataMobile software version of Online as software for shipping documentation. The customer immediately approved our proposal, since he already knew about this software from the Internet and from his friends, whose company already has experience in using software. In addition, we have conducted a preliminary demonstration of how to work with DataMobile data and software so that the client can see and see how quickly and efficiently all business processes are executed .

AvtoElement acquired 4 subscription licenses in the DMcloud cloud service for a period of 12 months. A personal account is available to the customer, where he can manage licenses and transfer them from one device to another.

We integrated the software into the typical "1C" configuration of the client, remotely performed all the necessary settings, trained the employees of the "AutoElement" company to work with the shipping documentation and our software solution. It took 1.5 weeks to implement the project.

Results

The automation results met the customer's expectations. Thanks to the use of shipping documentation ON DataMobile and for solving warehouse tasks, it was possible to:

• Minimize human errors and improve the efficiency of all warehouse processes
• Speed up warehouse operations and save working time
• make it easier to find the necessary positions - thanks to the implementation of address storage, each product lies in its place, and it is not difficult to find it;
• Simplify the picking of orders
• Effectively track the movement of products in the warehouse
• monitor residues, etc.

According to the director and co-owner of the company, now everything is just "flying." Separately, the customer notes the high quality of work of our support staff, who explain everything in detail, literally "on their fingers."

As part of the expansion of its activities, AvtoElement LLC plans to order more shipping documentation, purchase DataMobile software with an indefinite license or subscription.
