On November 22, 2023, the Russian automaker Avtotor and Galactica Corporation, a domestic developer of digital solutions for industry, signed an agreement on strategic cooperation. The document was signed by Anna Vyacheslavovna Gylych, Senior Vice President for Economics, Labor Organization and Implementation of Avtotor IT Systems, and Anton Malkov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Galactica Corporation.

The agreement provides for the phased introduction of domestic software in order to increase the level of digitalization of production management processes, industrial assets and corporate resources of Avtotor. The project is aimed at expanding the use of domestic services and platform solutions, as well as at import substitution of existing software and hardware systems. The planned volume of investments in the project will be about 700 million rubles.

It is expected that the creation of an integrated IT ecosystem will allow one of the leading Russian automakers, the largest enterprise in the Kaliningrad region, to increase the efficiency of managing production and business processes when implementing strategically important investment projects aimed at ensuring the production of high-quality cars, increasing labor productivity, creating additional highly qualified jobs, as well as mastering advanced professional competencies.

As noted, Galactica Corporation is a strategic partner of Avtotor in the implementation of the project for the digitalization of business processes and automation of production sites, the parties have been cooperating since 1999. Avtotor also plans to create a Competence Center for an industry solution for the automotive industry based on digital products of the Galactica Corporation.

The signing of an agreement on strategic cooperation is a new stage in the implementation of a comprehensive program to increase the automation of production and digitalization of business processes in key areas.
