"IT-Box: Cargo transportation, Logistics, the Warehouse" it is implemented in Avtotradinge

The Avtotrading holding was founded in 1993. During the activity the company built a big branch network which integrated reliable Russian forwarding and transport companies, and implemented a set of the innovative solutions thanks to which cargo delivery in any point of our country is performed most effectively. In 2011 the company set for itself the new objects of development for which achievement there was a need of increase in level of controllability by holding and customer service qualities. Creation of a common information space for all enterprises of holding became one of priorities during formation of the reliable platform for business development.

Before la of automation of activity in different divisions of the company software solutions based on "1C: Enterprise", capacities of the used IT solutions were used did not cope with the increased requirements of obtaining operational and reliable information any more, besides, requirements to IT solutions increased. New solutions should have high-speed performance, reliability, scalability and an opportunity to provide the high level of transparency of business.

The Avtotrading company held the tender for the choice of the information platform. The reputation of vendor of the software, functionality and flexibility of future platform were selection terms. The systems of two suppliers of Microsoft and SAP were considered. As a result the priority was given to the product Microsoft Dynamics AX. The consulting company IT-Box which showed during the tender of a possibility of the solution for automation transport - the logistic companies "IT-Box became the partner in implementation: Cargo transportation. Logistics. Warehouse". The uniqueness of this solution consists that it allows to create effective complete infrastructure for operational processing of a large number of transactions of all geographically distributed divisions of the company.

Except presence at IT-Box company of the solution, the industry experience of the company collected in the Center of Examination Transport logistics and also successful experience of implementation of systems in the Russian market became an important factor.

One of main objectives of the project is creation of a uniform information circuit. A new system should increase quality of work with clients, adjust integration of settlement of "front office" of the transport and logistic company with internal processes and also provide the highest information processing rate and obtaining the accounting, tax and management reporting. Thus, the platform for development and increase in a market share in the conditions of fierce competition will be created.

Feature of the project is a large number of legal entities and need of unification of approach to financial accounting for all divisions of holding.

Project on implementing solution "IT-Box: Cargo transportation. Logistics. The warehouse" based on Microsoft Dynamics Ax started in January, 2012, at the moment there is implementation of the phase "Analysis and Design". Within project implementation automation of the following directions is planned: logistics management of cargo delivery (intracity, long-distance, international delivery), management of warehouse logistics, service of motor transport, financial accounting, accounting, tax accounting, payroll and conducting personnel records. The term of project implementation is 1 year.
