Ilyushin selected the supplier of Siemens PLM for 276 million rubles

In June, 2016 "joint stock company of S.V. Ilyushin" summed up the results[1] Siemens PLM. The starting price of the agreement was 290 million rubles. The winner selected the company "Aviation Consulting-TEHNO" which reduced the contract price to 276 million rubles. In addition to it also the company participated in biddings "Borlas Security guard Sistemz".

Proceeding from the data provided on the portal of state procurements it is one-time purchase of engineering software, record on the amount, for Ilyushin. In 2015, for example, this company bought Siemens PLM software for the amount about 99 million rubles.

More than 1800 licenses of different software of Siemens, including the products NX for design are a part of purchase? and TeamCenter for product data management in real time at different stages of its lifecycle more than on 400 jobs. Software will be used, for example, for the strength and kinematic analysis, design of parts from sheet threw, stampings, the systems of an electric wiring harness and pipelines, for solving of tasks of outline design, etc. Also it is going to provide formation of the knowledge base in the Siemens TeamCenter and NX systems.

In justification of purchase it is said that it is necessary for software for creation of the new automated jobs of experimental design bureau meeting the modern industry requirements. Using software of Siemens in the company expect to provide creation and support of electronic design documentation at all stages of lifecycle of a new product.

For all history of existence of CB Ilyushin at the serial plants more than 60 thousand airplanes of the Il brand were produced.

In most "the joint stock company of S.V. Ilyushin" at the time of the publication of material was not answered questions of TAdviser of purchase. In the press service of United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) which part the company is, told TAdviser that the corporation actively participates in import substitution programs of engineering software. In particular, use of packets of reverse engineering of "Logos" of development of VNIIEF, the analysis of aerodynamics of Flowvision of development of Tesis company, the analysis of a logistical support and development of operational documentation of aircrafts of production of Research Center Prikladnaya logistika company and many others extends.

Together with other enterprises of the industry the standard order of interaction of the enterprises consumers with suppliers of engineering software allowing users to receive not simply working software is fulfilled, and the software product including support system and further development was added to OAK.

Strategic approach of OAK is that first of all the so-called "disruptive" directions on which developers and manufacturers of the aircraft equipment can get clear competitive advantage during creation of the aircraft equipment develop, - told TAdviser in the press service of corporation. - Besides, we pay special attention to integration of products of different developers at our platforms. In process of development of domestic goods we will increase use of domestic software during creation of the aircraft equipment.

The developer of engineering software Ascon believe that a part of purchased joint stock company of S.V. Ilyushin of software could be replaced with their products. NX is the CAD system of a heavy class and more fully solves problems of aircraft industry, the product grew from the aviation industry and meets the specialized requirements of design of products of the aircraft and space equipment, the representative of Ascon noted in a conversation with TAdviser. In turn,Compass-3D on the functionality treats the systems of the middle class and is intended for the solution of universal all-machine-building tasks.

We can drop a hint of doubt whether it is reasonable to equip all more than 400 places with such expensive system, - told TAdviser in Ascon. - By our experience, in aviation design offices many specialists are engaged in development of parts and nodes for which a specialized heavy CAD system is not necessary. In such workplaces it is quite possible to use Compass-3D. If necessary, the models developed in Compass-3D then are transferred to NX through exchange formats.

In the company cited as an example the Siberian research institute of aircraft of Chaplygin in Novosibirsk where consider the possibility of use of a CAD Compass for design of three-dimensional models, including, for settlement researches.

Despite difficulties, in Compass it is quite possible to construct parametrical model of a wing with the configured settings, such as scope, arrow-shapedness, corners of a twist, length of chords and so forth, without conceding on functionality of NX in which I work now, - the engineer Sergey Fonin from the Siberian research institute of aircraft of Chaplygin says.

He added that at Compass there is an important advantage in comparison with NX: at creation of a spline, coordinate of points or poles are stored in the special table which can be edited at any time while in NX there is no access to such table. According to the engineer, in parametrical models of wings often there is a need of change or replacement of profiles by others, and the above-stated feature allows to perform such work quickly and with the minimum costs.
