Azersun Holding upgrades IT infrastructure on the platform of solutions of IBM

Azersun Holding also IBM completed the project on upgrade of IT infrastructure of holding on the platform IBM PureFlex and IBM Storwize, reported the press services of the companies on February 21, 2013.

The customer demanded radical performance improvement of systems on which key business applications of the company are placed: ERP and management systems for sales. New IT infrastructure is designed to solve such problems as consolidation of resources and services and increase in their availability, simplification of management and control, reduction of time of backup and data recovery.

When choosing the solution IT Department of Azersun considered server solutions HP and CISCO. The choice IBM of PureFlex and a storage system of IBM Storwize V7000 allows to guarantee high fault tolerance, scalability and ease of management of IT systems.

With Azersun Holding project implementation reduced time of backup procedures three times, by 10 times capacity between servers is increased, 30% decrease in level of energy consumption of systems is provided.
