Azov-Don Shipping Company upgrades EDMS

On June 27, 2014 it became known of use of group of companies Azov-Don Shipping Company (ADP) of the new version EDMS ESCADA from the company Interprocom, since September, 2013.

Project Tasks

In decision making process - to update ESKADO, trust of heads of holding to a brand of IBM, positive experience of employees in the environment of IBM of Lotus Domino/Notes, the cost of a product and support of remote work of users were an important factor of influence.

ADP and Interprocom company signed the agreement on transition to the new version of EDMS in August, 2013. The staff of Shipping company was already familiar with ESKADO and used earlier version for 7 years. A system proved as the effective tool meeting requirements of conducting document flow.

Project Results

Clerks, secretaries of heads, personnel department, legal department and other departments are connected to EDMS. Specialists of ADP managed to be convinced that the "boxed" version of ESKADO in general supports all processes of office-work of the company and conducting document flow without completion of EDMS meets their requirements. A system allows to configure process of passing of each document type according to business processes of the company.

The implementation project is implemented in the shortest possible time: the main unit was started within one month.

The tasks solved during the project:

• simplification of work of employees due to reduction of routine transactions,
• creation of "transparency" at document handling,
• increase in performing discipline due to control of completion dates of orders, orders, instructions,
• reduction of search time of information,
• increase in speed of response to incoming requests,
• decrease in losses of documents and exception of creation of wrong duplicates due to maintaining electronic archive,
• reduction of terms of approval of documents,
• cost reduction on processing of paper documents.

A system is installed in 26 workplaces in management company. During 2014 it is going to connect jobs in two companies of holding.
