BPS Innovative Software Solutions Migrates Fraud Prevention Platform at BCS Bank

2024: Implementation of an anti-fraud analytics platform

As part of the import substitution project, BPS Innovative Software Solutions introduced its own analytical fraud prevention platform at BCS Bank, replacing the previously existing system from SAS.

The BPS platform is a full-fledged alternative to the previously used import system. It carries out cross-channel monitoring of all transactions carried out through RBS channels (individuals and legal entities), bank cards and through the Fast Payment System.

The platform has flexibility in configuration and analytics. Thus, the bank is provided with the possibilities of various scenarios, analysis of the behavioral profile. Since there are many specifics in the work of analyst operators, for example, certain requirements for the life cycle of an investigation or a list and sequence of available operations at all stages, each bank can individually make settings for its own policy. BPS also automates operations in accordance with the requirements of a credit institution in order to reduce the burden on its fraud analysts.

The choice in favor of a fraud prevention system from BPS was made by us on the basis of two key points. Firstly, we have known the BPS team for a long time, and their platforms perfectly ensure the operation of our processing center, and secondly, the company meets our high requirements both in terms of migration quality and in terms of implementation time. As of April 2024, BCS has an import-substituted cross-channel anti-fraud system, productive and with a flexible approach to management by our fraud officers, - said Farrukh Mirzoev, head of the fraud prevention department of the FG BCS.
