The Baltika brewery carries out an update of software of a CAD and buys new products of Autodesk

The Softline company completed the complex project on delivery and a software update of Autodesk for Baltika brewery, the press service of the supplier reported on October 29, 2012.

Project implementation included several stages: services in the field of licensing and software updating, consulting and the organization of the subsequent technical support.

Background

In the project activity the staff of Baltika applies software solutions of Autodesk long ago, however with growth of production tasks there was a need of optimization of the software and performance improvement of project teams. For the solution of this task as the contractor Baltika selected Softline company.

Partners jointly analyzed the current situation and estimated quantity and a condition of the used licenses at all plants of brewery. The offer including updating of the available licenses, exchange of a part of the used products for the vertical software packages Autodesk Product Design Suite Premium and prolongation of subscriptions to software was as a result created. The most loaded and productive divisions of the plants are decided to be transferred to work on the vertical solution for machine-building design of Autodesk Inventor which has wide functionality and allows to simplify and increase efficiency of project services considerably.

The head of mechanical engineering of Softline company Alexey Sidorov noted: "Feature of this project was the fact that licenses were required for the branches of the company located in the different cities and each of them had requirements and tasks. Therefore we selected solutions for each branch individually. It was important to implement operational system deployment of automated design (CAD) right after delivery and to provide the staff of Baltika with technical support".

Sergey Robozerov, the Head of Department on work with regional divisions of IT of Baltika brewery, emphasized: "For each region we found optimal solutions, all staff of Baltika who needs it on work, on branches had an opportunity to fully use Autodesk. Implementation of this project allowed to increase performance and quality of work of employees of IT in regions".
