The Baltika brewery increases reliability of information exchange and implements at itself the new FTP server

The Softline company completed the project on web filtering system implementation at the plants of Baltika, the press service of integrator reported on November 19, 2012.

Growth of information volumes which is transferred by employees as in the company and to external partners, caused increase of requirements to safety of file exchange. Baltika formulated a number of new technical requirements to the fault tolerance level, procedures of authentication, the used protocols and architecture of future software. Solving of tasks is entrusted specialists of Softline company.

Analysis results of products of key players of the market of MFT solutions (managed file transfer software) showed that the product of GlobalSCAPE company which makes the software for process management of file exchange allowing the companies to exchange data via the Internet in a protect mode can meet requirements of Baltika. Such solution considerably simplifies a task of observance of international standards in information security field and is applied by the large companies around the world.

Within three months Baltika tested the EFT server of the producer. During this time it was succeeded to reduce risks of data loss and costs for administration then the decision on product introduction on production Wednesday of the company was made.

The head of task force of department of information security of Softline company Alexander Mosyagin noted: "For such large company as Baltika, the solution of the highest level which is capable to provide, in particular, high availability, fault tolerance, support of a large number of data transfer protocols, the reporting and a full integration with the available infrastructure is required.
