Till summer of 2015 all document flow at the enterprise was conducted in paper form, and it, considering frequent business trips of heads, significantly complicated and dragged out approval process. Sometimes documents were lost that led to violation of terms, and, as a result, to a lost profit from BLMZ. Especially sharply problems were felt during the work with incoming requisitions on production: loss of documents led to the fact that the customer did not receive necessary products in time. For the solution of the described problems the management made the decision to implement an ECM system.
From a set of the ECM systems presented at the market, a choice was made for benefit of DirectumRX. The main role was played at the same time by important advantage of the solution – a possibility of the organization of remote and geographically distributed work. The cloud computing architecture of DirectumRX allows to use the solution from any place at any time. The project was implemented by the customer's forces. Specialists of DIRECTUM at the same time gave consulting support to an implementation team.
The main feature of the project – completely independent implementation of DirectumRX by the customer. The C of our party support consists in monthly monitoring of setup and use of a system, consultation of users. Training of the administrator and a seminar for users were carried out far off: by means of MS Lync in an online broadcasting format, – Natalya Kucherenko, the manager of projects of implementation of DIRECTUM company notes. – The cloud computing architecture of DirectumRX provides quick start of a system: additional setup of the server is not required, administrations of application servers and databases is an essential advantage of a cloud solution over the local ECM systems
In a project deliverable at the Baymaksky foundry and mechanical plant processes of approval of outgoing letters and memos, agreements and specifications, internal orders are automated. Also in electronic form there is a consideration of incoming documents, instructions are issued and their execution is controlled. By drawing up agreements the staff of the plant uses the ready autofilled templates.
Today a system at the enterprise is brought into trial operation, in it 20 users work. In plans – automation of approval of requests for production, work through mobile application of DIRECTUM Jazz and expansion of a system to 40 users.
