In 2007 Bumerang LLC managed one of canteens of the St. Petersburg state engineering and economic university (INZHEKONA). This dining room proved as high quality of food, pleasant service and the humane prices at once. For this reason soon under management of Bumerang one more dining room was transferred.
At this stage there was a question of automation of work of the front office (for service acceleration) and a back office (accounting) from accounting of specifics of a public catering.
The management of Bumerang LLC analyzed the software products presented at the market and stopped the choice on a line of "Traktir".
Behind demonstration of opportunities of the software product the management of Boomerang addressed to SoftBalance group. The presentation during which on the connected retail store equipment work "was shown to Traktir was organized: Front-Office" and possibilities of the back office version of the software product.
The management of Boomerang especially noted simplicity and ease of making changes in a standard configuration, readiness of developers of SoftBalance Group to finish the software product under the existing technology processes of the enterprise.
In July, 2010 between Bumerang LLC and SoftBalance Group the agreement on automation and delivery of a retail store equipment was signed.
Features of implementation
Prior to automation the task was set: create the system allowing to increase as much as possible service rate of clients.
Automation began with a back office part - accounting. Software product "Traktir: Back-Office PROF" provides the clear interface for any accountant familiar with "1C: Accounting". The database was completed, technical process charts are entered, the menu is created.
For automation of the front office the software product "was used by Traktir: Front-Office BUSINESS". For increase in service rate the interface in which the employees who are engaged in products holiday worked was extremely simplified. Besides, an opportunity for operational correction of positions of the menu was configured. The menu was loaded into a front office part of a system weekly. During the day a number of positions changed (a breakfast, a lunch, a dinner) or left, it quickly was reflected in the cashier's terminal that accelerated his work.
All equipment used in the project was provided by ATOL Group, one of the leading distributors in the market of a retail store equipment. Due to installation of the Posiflex JIVA 6815 terminal monoblock with FanFree technology and fiscal registrars of FPrint 02K it was succeeded to create reliable, simple in use and an intuitive system and not to spend a lot of time for training of new personnel.
Fast stroke speed of the solution allowed to connect quickly not only the first dining room with which implementation began, but also five more, transferred to the control by Bumerang LLC after the beginning of the project.
Project Results
Management INZHEKONA highly appreciated results of Bumerang company on object management of a public catering. Thanks to it already by the end of 2010 under its management all 6 canteens of university were told.
Today work of all these dining rooms is automated using the Traktir software product, and the Bumerang company develops the activity already in the direction of objects of a public catering of other universities. The competitive success is promoted by high service rate, product quality, competitive prices and speed of transfer of an object of a public catering to the new principles of work, software and the equipment.
