2025: Implementation of the "Centralized Archive" for the 1C: Enterprise platform
Experts of the IT company BIA Technologies have implemented the Centralized Archive configuration for the 1C: Enterprise platform in the work of the logistics operator. The system provides not only storage of company documents, but also quick access to them. BIA Technologies announced this on April 22, 2025.
Initially, electronic and paper documentation was stored decentralized in various departments and information systems of the company. This approach made it more difficult to find documents and generate reports.
This system provides for the automatic creation of tasks for searching and adding scan copies to the electronic archive if they are not available at the time of requesting documents, as well as the ability to determine the physical location of documents at any stage of their life cycle. In addition, the developers have added a tool for providing scan copies at the request of an employee without the direct participation of archive employees.
| It is critical for the logistics industry to maintain business continuity, so the system was implemented while maintaining the functioning of the units. It is configured with in-line scanning and a search form is implemented that takes into account many parameters, - said Alexander Volovik, Commercial Director of BIA Technologies. |
| Accelerating and simplifying document flow improves business processes, including those related to timely reporting. As a result of the modernization of the documentation management process, we have obtained a system for convenient storage and use of information. As of April 2025, our Centralized Archive occupies more than 75 terabytes and has about 400 million documents, "said Dmitry Khrushchalev, Deputy General Director for Development of the Business Lines Group of Companies. |
As part of the project, BIA Technologies experts have formed a mandatory process for preparing an electronic copy for storing the main types of documents, so that only the necessary information gets into the Centralized Archive.
