"Chelyabinsk Auto-Mechanical Plant" has updated the electronic archive "Etla"

2022: Transition to the updated version of the electronic archive "Etla"

Etlas Software has released another update for the electronic archive system. As a result, the Chelyabinsk Auto-Mechanical Plant switched to work with an updated version. This was announced on August 11, 2022 by representatives of Etlas-Soft.

Electronic archive "Etla" is used at "CHAMZ" to store all types of documentation - personnel, financial, design. Different user groups have access only to certain sections of the archive, which allows you to safely store commercial and confidential documentation in the archive.

Regular software updates allow you to keep the archive functioning in optimal mode: the errors identified in the program code in the time after the previous update are eliminated, new functions and tools are added. The CHAMZ specialists carried out the update of the program on their own. There were no problems with the archive.

2018

On December 3, 2018, Etlas-Soft announced that the Chelyabinsk Auto-Mechanical Plant began using the Etla electronic archive.

According to the company, for all the years of work, the plant has formed an impressive paper archive of various documents, ranging from projects and product schemes to organizational and administrative documentation. It was decided to transfer the paper archive to electronic and form a working archive of current documents.

The main requirements for the system were:

• transfer of documents from paper to electronic;
• simplified search for documents (preferably customizable, with memorizing search histories and the ability to form search patterns);
• Differentiate users by groups with document access rights
• access to the archive database from a mobile device;
• Generate different types of reports
• the presence of text recognition mechanisms for indexing documents by content, in order to further search for a document by content;
• possibility of installation servers under; OS Linux
• availability of mechanisms for automatic creation of incremental backups of the system in several places;
• periodic integrity check, databases its optimization;
• availability of tools for self-configuration and implementation of the system by the customer.

After analyzing the electronic document archives market, the head of the information technology department of the plant made a recommendation on the implementation of the solution from Etlas-Soft, since it met all the requirements.

After the creation of the archive structure, the establishment of users, the formation of directories and the configuration of document cards, a list of reports was formed and mechanisms were set up to create automatic backups of the database and document database in several places.

As of December 2018, documents are being transferred from paper to electronic, which will save additional space, significantly reduce the use of paper and greatly simplify access to the necessary documents for plant employees.

The work of the central office of the plant in the formed archive of current working documents also began. In the future, it is planned to connect the maximum number of employees to work in the archive and begin setting up processes for coordinating and developing documents.
