CaixaBank completed implementation of a complex of technologies for processing of Big Data

On November 27, 2014 Oracle announced end of the first stage of implementation of the strategic project on implementation of infrastructure of Big Data in CaixaBank.

Project Results

CaixaBank together with Oracle completed the first stage of the strategic project on work with Big Data during which unrolled infrastructure for a central mass storage. Unified, flexible, powerful and the safe "reservoir of data" (data pool) is capable to react quickly to any requests to information, to quickly find the necessary data and to draw the most up-to-date information for business.

Developing infrastructure on the platform of technologies Oracle as a part of which the hardware and software systems Oracle Engineered Systems, software products of Oracle and service of Oracle Consulting, bank integrated in storage all available information environments which work is connected with customer relations, risk management, formation of the regulatory reporting, etc. The project helped bank to get access to the aggregated information and to analyze it with a bigger historical depth.

The analysis of Big Data will help bank to improve services for clients, to improve results of business. Integration of information from various sources (The Internet, a branch network, call centers, ATMs) helped to receive a detailed picture about each of clients. All information obtained via one of channels immediately is reported to other channels.
