Carrying out audit of system implementation of accounting for Rautakirja Russia group

Project Task

The management of Rautakirja Russia Group made the decision on transition from the system of accounting on a basis "1C: Accounting 7.7" on more perfect and meeting requirements of the company 1C: Accounting 8 version. For the solution of this task the decision to carry out implementation by forces of own specialists of the company was made. Based on implementation, the management of holding invited specialists Microtest for rendering auditor services in the area the analysis of stability, reliability and performance of the received solution and its diagnostics to compliance to politicians of the company.

Solution

Within the project Microtest was carried out by specialists the analysis of IT infrastructure of the Customer, audit of high-speed performance of solutions of 1C, data analysis of four information bases "1C: Accounting 7.7" and one "1C: Accounting 8" regarding correctness of conducting accounting and tax accounting.

As a result of the booked audit were revealed:

• bottlenecks in a configuration of the server hardware and the software;
• errors of administration of solutions of 1C, data transfer and setup of a system;
• opportunities for correction of reflection in the system of transactions of accounting and tax accounting;
• reasons of slow work of a configuration and database.

As a result of the carried-out work, specialists Microtest provided to the guide of the Customer the report on audit and offers on change of a situation.

The achieved result

The offered recommendations were implemented also by forces of specialists Microtest, they can be separated into three groups:

• The first part of works covered the tasks connected with optimization of IT infrastructure of the Customer: employees Microtest optimized a configuration of the server hardware and customized a disk system, set and configured the server software providing compatibility with solutions of 1C.
• The second part of works concerned performance improvement of the solution "1C: Accounting 8" due to optimization of setup of a system, correct closing of registers of a system, holding a procedure of updating on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform.
• The third stage of works concerned correction of accounting in 4 information bases "1C" as a result of which fixed asset accounting and materials, accounting of agreements, the cash accounting, by the VAT, settlement, according to logic of reflection of operations on accounting and tax accounting in the systems of 1C was arranged.

Acceleration of system operation on a basis "1C: Accounting 8" and correct accounting in the systems of 1C according to the accepted account policy of the company became a project deliverable.
